For a Mod, you really do flame some fires around here.
This is the fastest way you will get banned man. Just leave it alone, you cant win. Many people have been banned for disagreed with the "2k marketing sucks devs are idiots" theme. I would move on

Which Live we talking about?

Because there were a few where they had Dwight looking like KD back in the day...

That looks fantastic. The lighting and colour tones are awesome. It looks like a real photo at first glance.

I'm hoping it's safe to touch on this subject...

I like the slenderness of the NBA Live body models. However, I feel that VC does a better job with animations, emotions, and facial graphics. If that makes sense...

Wander how's Jeremy Lin's haircut? Cause he got so many different style last season.
And his cyber face is awful in past 2k series, hope it got lots improvement!

In the perfect world, Live and 2k would collaborate and make 1 game. Nba 2k with Nba live spacing would be best ball game ever. My opinion is the biggest issue with 2k, as you can recover/defend to all 5 players with only 1.

Instead of begging these athletes to "DM me" or "drop me a follow," why doesn't Ronnie and the marketing team -@- these players on different social media platforms?

That way it is likely added to their timeline, anyway, and he doesn't look like he's trying to court attention from the players. It would be nice if he would concern himself with giving us a a lot of screenshots a day (and other content) and not being a "celebrity" amongst the NBA circle.

Agree, I cringe when he asks for a follow

The reason for this is it makes fans go to the player on Twitter, IG, etc, who then tweets/posts the pic, which inevitably generates followers/retweets etc for the player which builds their fanbase and brand.

Not to mention it gets the players personally involved and more connected with what goes on at 2K.

Right. You have all these players tweeting 2k, sometimes repeatedly to get their rating/scan. Then posting it directly on their page? It's a ton of free promotion at the cost of what? asking for a follow in some cases? Yeah I think they'll take it...DM'ing it adds a bit of control to the process as well. It's a no brainer really. That's not in defense of Ronnie or anything...but as much as the word marketing is thrown around....This is easy.

From a fan perspective: For guy's concerned with player detail, you saw how fast Ronnie jumped on Drummonds public request for accuracy, lol...the more players in the conversation like that the better. I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason Horford followed Ronnie in the first place was to get scanned so he doesn't look like a bass any more [emoji38]

Yep, tweak the algorithm a little and a guys overall goes up or down compared to others without a change in any single skill.

Obviously the calculation to that overall can be different. J.R. Smith is a perfect example. Extremely dangerous because he could go off for 30 on any given night. If he scores less than 10 he is pretty much useless, though.
How could it matter? It isn't a skill that has an effect on anything, It is a statistical calculation of numbers that actually do matter. Weight those numbers different and it changes even though none of the numbers that do matter have changed.

Lol so it's a calculation of all the individual skills and yet the sum/answer doesn't matter? Sure.
