I normally like my sports games as authentic as possible. But I must say....this commentary team sounds better than Jim Nance and Phil Simms. I'm liking this a lot. Very realistic feel.

I got one where, before my first preseason game, they made a remark that football is back, which is "much better than Watergate" referencing the Ryan Lochte incident! I was amazed!

Real nice feature

The commentary is amazing. They mentioned how the Bucs kicker was missing field goals in preseason and how they traded up to grab him in the second round. Huge props to EA!

I'm liking the commentary updates. They talked about the controversy last week when Teddy Bridgewater was benched week 2 and also about Usain Bolt and how he could play WR. Good stuff.

Madden needs to update the official on penalties with players numbers: holding on the defense, on the offense, pass interference on the defense.
It would be nice to hear them say the actual numbers.

Hearing and seeing 2 separate things... Seems every time they say how many yards a play was the on field graphic above the player lists a different yardage than was said by the commentators.

Yeah I've heard it a few times too, will run 9 but they would say he ran 8, need two more yards for the 1st down.

If it's like a yard out that might have been done intentionally. It happens a lot in regular football because the guys in the commentary booth call it as they see it from distance.

I was playing a "play now" game and the commentary brought up Tom Brady not being available as he cut his thumb on a pair of scissors while trying to clean his cleats. Very up to date! Love it!

I doubt if the NFL would allow that.

The first game in Play Now I played, they said that Tom was playing this preseason game, but it's important to note that they will be without him for the first four games. The suspension itself wasn't mentioned, but they did say he wasn't going to play first four. Nice touch.

Yeah, that was my thought process too, I just know the word suspensions probably won't be used.

I heard in next update they are gonna put in the Kaepernick storyline about him not standing.

For what it's worth.

I agree, I don't think they will overtly say much about it. Too controversial (for lack of a better word) for the game.

On the other hand some of the stuff I'm hearing is very repetitive.

Every game as soon as Doug Baldwin makes a catch they talk about him being undrafted from Stanford.

Every game where Thomas Rawls breaks a big run, they talk about him going from UM to CMU, and his nickname.

Wonder when new commentary will come out??? It's been week today since last one and were heading into last week of pre season need hear some new lines

# 98 extremeskins04 @ 08/31/16 07:41 PM
I'm not hearing any new commentary lines in Play the Moment. Is it only in Play Now games? I thought it was in CFM too.

Heard a couple of cool comments today - just signed a FA halfback in preseason and they mentioned him recently signing and how he'd see a lot of carries. And then one of the coolest I've ever heard - I had previously moved Mario Edwards from DE to DT and they mentioned his position change and how he'd be better able to take advantage of his speed at DT. Nice.

Heard them mention the Romo injury today and them talking about Ezekiel Elliotts debut.
