I say this on every picture thread but its true, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Looks ok, other than those arms. He would not be able to wear those sleeves, they would be too loose. He looks like he's 140 lbs. (looking at the arms, though his body model may not be proportional to the arms).

Mannnn, what the hell is going on w/ 2K art department? I've never been the one to be anal about graphics and even avoided some of the super critical threads because it's starts making you notice those super small things that might end up irking you down the road. But these screenshots of these players models has been terrible body wise.

Then you have Ronnie and Czar laughing like we have the issue and it blows my mind that they can look at these models and say "Nailed it". It's ridiculous. Yes, Czar the screens at first players were too big and yes now they are skinny.

Man, I just don't understand it? This dude has no type of muscle definition or anything. Not a game breaker but I hope they can fix this stuff before 2K17 releases.

The devs work hard, I mean incredibly hard. And I would NEVER dispute that and 100% appreciate it.

When it comes to looking at what's in front of us, we have an obligation to give feedback in the name of improvement.

I for one am willing to call an apple an apple. Kevin Durant to me was fine (arm thickness). Just had square shoulders which was NOT natural.

Now to attempt to improve it, it appears the issue was misdiagnosed and they've made him skinnier. Not where the problem was.

As a result, we have the above.

Can we live with it? Sure. But can we have an opinion on it? Absolutely! And the day the 2K community stops voicing their opinion is the day the game STOPS IMPROVING. I have bought every game since 2K6 and when its no longer about the community voicing their issues in the name of improvement is the day I stop purchasing.

Don't think the choices of theses pictures are fair though. The 2K pic looks like a particularly bad one where proportions aren't right and he appears particularly bulky on the real life one.

Even in the video of 2K it noticeable to me. I honestly can't see how anyone can look at the picture of 2Ks screenshot of KD's arms and not say it's too skinny or definitely off.

No his arms are off for sure (too thin and no muscle definition) but that picture comparison looks more like a troll attempt than anything else. It's obvious KD doesn't look nearly as bad as he does in that horrible picture, and I don't recall seeing KD that bulky in a long time.

I put that pic together. I promise it was not a troll attempt.

I took the only good close up from Gamescom and then looked for a full body pic of KD at the foul line for similarity.

100% promise it was not a troll attempt man.

I don't know. I am just hoping 2K notices this and quit posting tweets like we're just seeing things or can't make up our minds. But like you said, all KD needs is muscle definition and a tad bit of more meat on his arms and he'll be good in my eyes. This Schroder pic is just bad all around to me though.

I think Schroeder looks okay but some of the models are off. Jimmy Butler just looked weird to me, Durant looks too skinny, and I thought Towns looked a bit off in the face. Hair was spot on for Towns but, eh, maybe if I get a full look at him he might be okay.

Graphics aren't the most important thing to me. Gameplay and presentation come before graphics but some of the player models are a little disappointing thus far.

Okay but it's obvious the proportions aren't right in that pic so still not a fair comparison. (depending of the angle at wich the phone was and how flat the monitor was you're gonna get terrible pictures with wrong proportions)

And he appears to be very bulky in the real life picture.

I think that's a 2016 Rio picture doesn't look as bulky here. (nevermind it's 2012)

# 73 MarkWilliam @ 08/20/16 09:39 AM
How about this one? I think the forearms are telling.

Again, not an issue from a broadcast cam IMO. Just my opinion. It appears we have the same opinion, but just want to state once again it was not a troll attempt.

# 74 Vni @ 08/20/16 09:44 AM
No I got you but thoses ghetto video screenshots don't do the game any justice tbh.

That's from the trailer : (We don't get to see the forearms in the trailer though)

But I'am with you all, KD's arms look more like Ingram's than KD's for sure.

Seconded. If people are going to work in a creative field, they have to be able to take constructive criticism.

Now Vni made a point about my pic maybe not being the right one (in terms of camera angle etc.) - totally respect and understand that. But it was in the name of improving the game.

Constructive criticism.

I'm taking that KD over the skinny one. I KNOW others would disagree but that's my opinion.

His shoulders are far too square which make him look odd. But I'd rather have 1 issue - not 2.

To see things on Twitter about fans being indecisive and actually mocking and laughing about it is not right IMO.

If you make something not quite right, then attempt a re-hash and that's also not quite right, do fans not have a right to voice that its still off (opinionated of course)?

That irks me man.

I like the direction the body types are going. But 2K needs to pull their head in when it comes to biting back at fans on social media.

They are paid professionals and I think they need to start behaving like it.

I think they are the same, but I'd need to rewatch the gamescom videos. Unless it was confirmed that they are different.
