Madden NFL 17 Screenshot Featuring Under Armour and Adidas

Check out the latest Madden NFL 17 screenshot, featuring Adrian Peterson. You can see the Under Armour and Adidas cleats much better here. More equipment details are coming soon.

As Clint Oldenburg and Dustin Smith have noted on Twitter, the screenshots that are released on various outlets are a WIP and equipment will get updated before launch.

I doubt that will be in 17.

If this is true then that gives me hope that cleat colors can be changed per player instead of as an overall team.

There's probably a variation of the cleat that is basically default and then team color. I'm pretty sure the Redskins default cleat color is black so that's where you'd get both from.

We have forearm bands now they just aren't where we'd want them to be as far as placement and accuracy. We were only able to get to so much.

Can't be chosen per player but there's some neat things you can get with our current setup.

So basically it is gloves, cleats and some scanned helmets and the wrong type of one-armed sleeve that's being added in terms of equipment.

Somehow the list of things that didn't make it grows longer. At least they added something, but I can't believe they'd have to allocate primary resources to equipment in order for that area to be up to par... It's a shame, especially when it seems like their biggest limitation is the outdated code they have for players even more frustrating when we KNOW a game made by the same company not long ago had equipment on point.

Needless to say, we're all appreciative of new equipment, but I reckon this is more of a "let's throw a bone at them" rather than "let's blow them away with these equipment additions"

Rant over, sorry

I have a feeling that the equipment blog will be the shortest out of all of them.

Rant is definitely a good opinion, no doubt.

I keep saying there will be people disappointed all across the board, not just equipment, but CFM, game play,MUT, Draft Champions, online, offline etc..... that will be unhappy because some things are going to be left in or out of the game.

Try as they might, not everything in every area will be blown out of the water after years of old code.

Ok Kane has def lowered my expectations a little, BUT they have to build a solid foundation first so im still excited about the additions that will be added this year.

Thanks kane. i dont know if it will be fixed this year or next but could you guys fix the air holes. The horns actually cover up the holes on the helmet. I can post it in equipment errors of you want.

If they scan the helmet it should be fixed, theoretically at least
