Talking about the little things; I wish they would juice and pimp up the tune before the game and during innings. I know they wanna build a brand, but they could at least make it sound fresh again, while still maintaining the overall melody.
It's called Sounds of the Show. Everyone can upload their own music this year.
No guys, the The Show sound in between innings. Has nothing to do with SotS. It's like a little. Just start up a game in The Show 15. You will hear a little broadcast entrance theme. The same goes when an inning has ended and you see the due-up. It has been the same theme since ever. Hopefully you understand better now

You can assign intro music and between inning music in Sounds of the show. You can even replace the soundtrack and play your own music as well.
Hey Russell...this is a small request, and maybe it is already in this year or maybe it can be put in in the future. When you go into edit a player, it would be nice if you would have the option to give them a Top 50 icon. I know right now all you have to do is go edit a player that already has the icon but it would be nice if it was an option that you could apply to anyone simply by going into edit player and if there was an option to add Top 50 icon. Thanks
Anyone notice in streams that 2nd base ump always looks over right shoulder before pitch with runner on 2nd base. Hopefully, part of WIP and pointing out in case SCEA not aware.
He's not wrong though for those of us who aren't interested in SOTS.
What he's talking about could stand for a makeover.
But why would the devs take the time and manpower to improve that when they give the option to add your own and when most people aren't going to hear it anyway?

Who's to say that most people will SotS though? Yea a lot of people from this site will use it but we are in the minority of customers. Also I'm not saying that nobody will use it either.

It's not nearly as popular to the grand population as you seem to think it is.
And the devs change small things every year (scorebugs as an example) it was just a suggestion by him and I think a good one.

Yea I can't see more than maybe 10-15% of people using this feature to it's fullest extent. Most people will probably do what I do and use it as the menu music and that's it. But most people won't take the 13 or so hours, without download times, to put the proper music for each player and team.
The same people that took the time to implement the SotS are the ones that would be faced with changing the other music, more then likely. They said that it took them pretty much the whole cycle to do it. I can't see creating more work for themselves by redoing in-between inning music, when what they spent all there time on gives an alternative. So for people who don't like the intro and between inning music, they give the option to include your own. Even though a lot of people may not use SotS they do have the option if they don't like the default. They may address it on the next cycle but it wouldn't make much sense to have done it for 16.

I mean they already do a whole new soundtrack with each game anyway, so adding a different theme song isn't this months-long grueling process. It's a false choice to say it's either SOTS or having new theme music on the front end/in between innings. Unless they need to compose it themselves...
Assuming I get the game, I probably will try to use SOTS, but I can imagine people just wanting a change in the theme song every now and then without having to invest their own time in the downloading and assigning music to this, that, and the other.

That's not quite what I said. And a whole new soundtrack and in-game/presentation music is two different things. I'm just saying if people have that big of an issue with the them music they have the choice to change it.
