MLB The Show 16 - New Road to the Show, Showtime Details & Tentative Reveal Dates

MLB The Show 16 news has finally arrived today, as the team has revealed Road to The Show and Showtime details in their latest video blog, with Ramone Russell (Development Team) and Matt Schaeffer (Game Designer).

The team dives into each of these features, showing off how Showtime slows critical Road to the Show in-game moments for total control to make big plays when you need it most. Road to the Show will be back with a new player perks system and more personal, curated journey throughout your career.

I gotta admit, same here. They already have my purchase, I just want to know what I'm getting come March.

Today was more of a "get hyped for the forthcoming announcements to really get hyped about" type of deal, but it's all good. It will all play out in the end.

Sigh...not a fan of having to wait until March to find out about franchise. Oh well. Hopefully it's worth the wait.

Kind of disappointed because I never touch RTTS, and we have to wait until March to hear about Franchise. Really wish we could have just got a fact sheet like always. But glad the info is coming out now. Can't wait for the game.

Something I noticed about the Scout day hitting evaluation it said we could practice as much as we want does that mean we get batting cages?

As someone that has no interest RTTS, I miss the fact sheet. It was nice having at least a little bit of info on all the features I care about, even if we don't get a deeper look for several weeks down the line. Gave us something to talk about.

Either way I'm still excited for the game, just wish I got more info about other modes today.

So where does stats fit? I could see it as a portion of the franchise mode stuff. Not really obvious where it goes.

2 of the 17 bullet points of the features list (fact sheet) is in the video. The rest will be revealed piece-by-piece coinciding with their announcements.

Ughh�if I wanted perks or Show(bullet)time, I�d play Call of Duty or Prince of Persia. This�this is not right.

Being that the perks have to be equipped, I think it's safe to assume those are optional. And we've already been told Showtime is.

Pretty sure they already said you dont have to use showtime. Perks will be no different.

I wonder if PBR was turned on in that video. The graphics looked the same as last year to me. (Not that that's necessarily a bad thing)
