MLB The Show 16 - New Road to the Show, Showtime Details & Tentative Reveal Dates

MLB The Show 16 news has finally arrived today, as the team has revealed Road to The Show and Showtime details in their latest video blog, with Ramone Russell (Development Team) and Matt Schaeffer (Game Designer).

The team dives into each of these features, showing off how Showtime slows critical Road to the Show in-game moments for total control to make big plays when you need it most. Road to the Show will be back with a new player perks system and more personal, curated journey throughout your career.

No(at least this year)....it was the 10 stadiums that were available from the classic stadium pack.

Today is just a Dev Diary, the DD stream will be on Thursday.

There is no stream today just a short video.

Thursday is the live stream.

Not into DD but I want to hear more on Universal rewards. I hope they will still have you collect cards no matter what game mode you play. Even though I'm not into DD I still like collecting the cards.

It'll almost certainly be posted on the PS Blog, or on shownation.com . It's just a written article, and maybe a video to accompany it - there's nothing to "follow".

just remember they mentioned that the QnA for the 23rd is suppose to be a Stream. just a FYI incase people missed it. it doesnt have the twitch logo but they did mention it during the DD stream that it should be a stream.

LOL yea it was obviously supposed to be a stream, not sure how they left off the twitch icon. And they also mentioned the Franchise would be 2 streams but only one of them had a twitch icon.

I've been playing this game since 09. RTTS is my favorite feature.

I hate to say it, but it seems so similar to the 15 game, 14 game, 13 game, 12 game.

Bowman is nice, but we already had a play in-game style system to set up your draft status. I don't think anyone wants "cheats" in-game. Is that really it?

I've always wished they'd set up something like NBA2K has with their my player mode. Give us more behind the scenes action and control over the team, like you see in NBA 2k16. Give us the ability to choose what uniforms the team is wearing. Let us spend the money we get from signing a contract on attributes.

I'll end up buying the game regardless, but I wish when I played RTTS in 16, it felt like a new game, a new experience.
