Hoooly crap standing dunks are like life this year. Big men feel right.

Might be bit of a stupid question, but I have a question about offense selection. During the game, the offense/action are both set to default. So if for example I'm using the Hawks, are the default offense/action just a standard option for each, or are they both default set to best fit the Hawks offense already?

Stanley Johnson hair is my only concern. His frizzed out hair does not show up while playing but on cut scenes and free throws it does..

Saw slider sharing is back, glad to see finally that added back.

All Star with sim settings is really giving me a tough time, which I like, that's the way its suppose to be, ALL Star setting was like this for me, quite a challenge, so glad to see that's back, and I hope you don't mess with it this year, no matter how many online people cry about it.

YOu can really tell the difference between good players and bad ones.

Really as far as gameplay goes I cant find anything negative really. Probably the 1 thing negative is picks don't seem quite strong enough, and it seems hard to get by your player because the pick man don't get close enough to him. Maybe its just me not being very good, but that's my feel on that so far, felt that way last year too for me.

I do wish with fake players on classic teams you would let us fully edit them, as in changing skin color. Would make fixing all the missing player much easier IMO.
Are the foul sliders working better than 2k15? Any chance to reach sim numbers of fouls this year?

Just got beat in a Superstar sim game, Lakers vs Celtics where I gave up 46% shooting, which is garbage in today's NBA. Last year the Lakers let opponents shoot... 46% from the field. Hibbert had 4 blocks, but he fouled out late in the game. I think that he may foul out of every game in MyLeague, until I let him walk after the first year.

Some quick impressions

Good
- Teams take 3s instead of just barrelling in. On that same note, the PGs don't take all the shot. Played against the Hornets and got bodied by Big Al.

- I like the number of foul shots this year.

- Defense in general is better. You mess up, you pay for it but also you lock in and it works. Lots of blocks.

- i like the different pass buttons

- Mismatches matter.

Bad (there are a lot but most of nitpicks)

- The highlights not working is inexcusable. Played on 8 minutes and still lost them by halftime. Luckily, the actual highlights suck so its not a big loss but it does make the game feel..empty. More so since they advertised the "awesome" halftime show. I also noticed that the ingame highlights are less too overtime.

- Perhaps too many blocks lol. Had 15 with the Magic

- Greg Anthony kinda sucks...sounds like he is sleepwalking through it at times. Commentary overall feels stitched together at times.

- Might be a slider thing but I still don't like how sometimes you NEED a screen to get by dudes. Kemba isn't locking down Wroten off the bounce like Prime Gary Payton. Sliders did help

- The substitution, playcalling controls are garbage

The Ugly

- yo....yo. The Sixers are going to be awful this year. I will need this game more than ever lol. ;_;

So far so good tho. Some slider fixes here and there will help. And most of the flaws (based off of 2 and 3/4 games) are nitpicks. but they do begin to add up. Still they should be fixable or at least won't break the game for me...

Good jerb 2k...for now

I am playing on PC and in my opinion game is much better optimised than last year. Love the gameplay it take some time to get used to it. Press conferences are nice, practices, love them!

First NBA season is a bit of boring with all the cutscenes, on the second season we get our my career back. Servers on PC are much better. No lag, there are people on my park, there are people in pro-am, gauntlet mode is interesting and fun to play. Still hadn't tried mygm mode, since there is so many things to do in this game now...

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but when i was playing the Kings at the end of the game they played if you happy and you know it, and the crowd clapped and stomped their feet when prompted to, really cool.

Love the game so far. Got a few things that I don't love about it and I hope they get addressed.

1) Substitutions. I'm getting used to the controls though, but they weren't broken to begin with. I understand their reason for wanting to keep the players fingers on the right stick, but it's takes away from the game. It takes time and focus off the actual gameplay. I don't want to "LOOK" at what player I want out and then do it again for what player I want in. It's terrible.

2) PlayNowOnline Choosing Opponents. So they changed the system online now which is great. Love the ranking system. However, you can't tell what jersey or what team your opponent is going to choose. Why? Sure, make it random, but if they choose the same colored jersey as your own team, what gives? Like today, I used the Lakers with the Home Yellow throwback jersey. My opponent was the Warriors. I was like cool, another newb who wants to be the best team in the game. No problem. And then when the game started, he actually chose a Yellow throwback jersey too! So now we got two teams with the same colored jersey.

There is absolutely no reason for this. Hope they fix this asap!

3) Jump Ball. My goodness why are they flailing? For realism? It's just a jump ball. Make it like 2K15. Simple. Whoever hits the button at the right time, wins. No need for all the flailing like Magikarp from Pokemon.

That's pretty much all I can think of. Other than that, I really dig the game. Graphics are just like 2K15 but the body scans helped the presentation a lot. Each player has it's own weight to it. The commentary isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I do miss Steve Kerr though. He was good imo. I love the defense and offense controls. It does take a bit of getting used to, however, I think it'll benefit the player in the long run. The passing is great. Shooting is dope. No more lag on some shooters online. For example, Jordan Clarkson, Jodie Meeks, Steve Blake all had some whack releases when you play with them online.

That's pretty much it. Hopefully I can get a hold of a developer and talk about my three main issues. ESPECIALLY the PlayNowOnline jersey crap and choosing your opponent!!! We should be able to see who our opponent chooses and what jersey they choose!

Absolutely great game. But, for someone who is used to play the game on PC with keyboard, lack of button mapping for keyboard is huge disappointment. And I am not having fun using stupid gamepad.
Other than that, lots of improvements!

**Continued from my post above**

Please allow us to select jerseys while viewing the opponents jerseys at the same time so we don't make this mistake (wearing the same color).

Fantastic menu. Quick, responsive and clear. The best yet.

The movement feels free and organic. Finally. Just lost an almost 20 points lead with Cavs playing against Thunder. Durant and Westbrook took over the game in the second half. Couldn't stop them to finish the game.
Be careful not to jab step when near the end of court line as you'll get out of bounds; your ai teamamtes will sometimes block shots to help you with defending; passing is so great- it's finally quick, snappy and responsive. The same can be said about fastbreaks-they are a joy to execute. Contrary to some opinions I love the new substitution and playcalling menus. It was a great idea to put it all on the stick. It's guick and seems natural to do.

Yeah I'm kinda used to everyone saying the game feels different all the praise, then when I buy it, it kinda just feels the same.

I was too excited for MYGM and MYLEAGUE. CPU agrees to trade Kevin Martin for Andre Drummond. Really?

Gameplay is stunning.
Don't like change of on fly settings from dpad to stcks. Really don't like it.

Can you override the CPU trade in MyLeague? I know you can't in MyGM, but in MyLeague, you're suppose to be able to override any terrible trade logic by the CPU. It may be an inconvenience though.

I think you can, though I found this trade through Trade Finder. How Pistons want to rebuild their team if they ready to make this move? They even don't have solid buckup for Andre.

Teams undrstanding what they need to do to become better. That was the best news about NBA 2k16 for me and things like relocation have close to zero interest for me. I was so happy about that drastic improvement for this mode and now old story goes on, ughh...

I would like to hear some response from guys.

Playing cheesers is funny man. When you beat them you walk around like you are the NWA World HEavyweight Champion. When you lose to them, you feel like garbage. I damn sure woke up this morning with Revenge on my mind. I need to go into the post more because I have been neglecting feeding the ball inside. I think I might have posted less than 5 times in 10 games. I know that won't fly long term.

Having only a few games under my belt, consider playing through the center. Toss the ball down in the paint, you may not actually look to score, but more of a decoy. Get ready to pass to the open man using your center. Or do what the Warriors might do and have the center at the top of the key looking to pass the rock. Play through your center could be a strategy that you enforce every once in a while.

I had Andrew Bogut at the top of the key specifically looking to pass the ball. I had Harrison Barnes or was it Green cutting to the basket for the layup/dunk.

Will do. I need to start using the "Quick Iso" after I feed the ball inside sometimes because stuff seems cluttered at times man.
