I gave curry the nod cause he was the MVP last season but you can't tell me those ratings are just to high and out of order for some

That's one rating I disagree with. Don't really have issues with the rest.

Jersey's look good, I have no problem w. the ratings. All about if they play like themselves ..

Per ESPN, among pgs with at least 200 attempts, Paul had the 3rd-highest % at 39.7. And, per BBall-Reference he had a lower % of those assisted (meaning off the dribble 3s) than Curry. I'd say he's a great shooter.

Personally I don't think the ratings should be the focal point....

They can give all of them 99 ratings it doesn't matter to me until I actually see the ratings mean something when the CPU AI is playing

Every year Chris Paul is rated 90+ in passing and really high in stealing yet every year I have the same complaints about him he is generic on the floor when you watch the Clippers play.

All this nit picking about a guy being 90 instead of 88 overall and we loose focus in these ratings as to what those actual ratings should mean for the players on the court when we play against them and EA has yet to live up to the billing when it comes to this IMO.

I'll be impressed if I fire up Live 16 and leave D.Jordan wide open and the AI Chris Paul recognizes that he's open for up top alley oop on my A$$ making me afraid of his 90+ passing ability and court vision

I'm guessing they will release these ratings up to release date but i'd caution you not guys not to get too carried away with one guy being rated higher than another guy especially if it turns out at the end of the day they are just numbers being assigned that have no IMPACT on the actual gameplay unless we are playing head to head and controlling the players ourselves for the most part.

Some of these cats shoot 3's in the mid 30's and are 90+ at shooting. What's Korver gonna have...145? Players have no disparity in their skills.

And right off the bat Wall a 93 in shot off the dribble? He's an improving shooter but shouldn't be higher than 80.

Don't watch ad much ball as I did but I don't remember him being good at 3's. Mid range is a different story tho.

I don't mind the rankings....The only 2 players who should not have a 90 overall is John Wall and Damian Lillard. You might have to add Kyrie to the list because he is injury prone and that boy's defense is horrid. He ranks at the 6 spot if we were ranking defense. lol

I have no issue with cp3 3 point shot rating as long as it is updated throughout thebseason. It's based on actual stats and not just reputation. Now if he starts brick in from 3 this year I need to see that change. Sometimes guys just have good shooting years and sometimes they're bad. Kevin love shot like 30% a few years ago in Minnesota and he's a former 3 point champion

# 34 mt8732 @ 09/08/15 05:11 PM
And for wall I'm interested to see his actual shot range ratings. His off the dribble shot may be good but if his mid to long range isn't high that just means he's more likely to make a shot off the dribble from that range than a standing one but still might not go in because it's not rated as high. Like if he was 93 off dribble but like 79 mid range?

With the way the shooting and synergy work together this year, I don't think actual shooting ratings matter all that much. More on this eventually.

Wasn't Erica saying the overalls wouldn't play as big a role as the individual ratings would during the live stream

# 37 The 24th Letter @ 09/08/15 08:08 PM
Wasn't the goal of Synergy to "remove subjectivity from player ratings"? I'm a bit confused if we're supposed to disregard it...

I'm all for letting the way they play on the court speak for itself (even though the track record in that area isn't glowing for this series.) but no I'm not sure I understand what Synergy is actually doing at this point...

Lillard only made 34% of his shots in crunch/clutch time from last season so how does it have an 85 clutch ?

And the year before he was at 47%. Clutch stats are such small sample sizes that a lot of it relies on rep, unfortunately.
