I'm with you. I don't mind the current scoreboard, but I do like a refresh every year. I really hope we get a presentation blog. There was no mention of one coming in last night's live stream. I just worry that presentation-wise, things will be the same as last year.

The game looks great.

Seems like player movement is a bit too fast? Or is that just me?

If the A.I is at a point where guys of a certain caliber will recognise a mismatch and attack it, abandoning the set offense. I mean... wow.

That's the most exciting thing I've seen in those two videos if that's the case.
Well I don't know if it was abandoning the offense as Lebron posting was pretty much the Cav's offense in that series regardless of who he matched up with.

But it looks nothing like Live.

When something looks off in 2K it's for a moment and usually an exception, though a very often recurring exception. If something looks right in Live, THAT is an exception.

There's definitely a higher level of things feeling "human" in 2K16 than 15 (or Live). Draymond posting looked really great, as did many of the pass animations. The issues are in the usual areas: sudden unnatural blends in direction and speed changes, animations involving physical contact, and defensive reactionary animations that involve both of the above.

I don't really mind that the scoreboard is still the same as long as they have added more presentation elements in other areas.

I can't help but to feel giddy like a school girl. After being impressed with the video in low-res and now seeing it in HD glory all I can say is wow. From the colors popping, to the player models and graphics, to the ultra smooth animations and variety of those animations. Outstanding! What gets me most excited is after seeing the games beautiful graphics the thought of me being able to create my own court and player uniforms from an unlimited palette is enough to make my head explode! That's before even talking about the park, MyCareer, and MyPlayer. I honestly haven't been this excited about a game since NFL 2K5. A little over two weeks fellas.

I love those subtle animations like when #40 Harrison Barnes signals for the ball at the 4:09 mark. It brings so much life to the game and makes the player seem like they have intelligence and personality. It's also gratifying when your paying attention and see that he is asking for the ball, pass the rock to him, and splash for a corner 3.

Or when Curry has Mozgov on him and kept running around calling for the ball. That was beautiful.

I would recommend watching this video in slow-mo to really appreciate all the subtle animations of the players, they are so lifelike. An example is at the 5:06 mark Draymond Green lifts his leg to adjust his sneakers in the middle of a play. Little nuances that 2K doesn't have to add but that does happen in real life and adds a lot to the immersion of the the game. I would like to hear about some subtle animations that you guys like.

Folks.

As i told you before - the guy playing is not a guy who plays NBA2k at all.

So do not concentrate on his not existing gameplay.

He clearly had no idea what he is doing. LBjay and I are already mocking the filmer (a good player and 2 time online league champ in our league by the way) why there is no footage of him playing.

But we all have to take what we got. It's the only vid so far - and it looks great.

Don't take it personally man, folks are always extra hard on the player in these videos for some reason, lol

Hell, some find reasons to smash on Ronnie and LD during the streams. And LD isn't all that bad.

I mean we can appreciate the player that he do the Zig Zag Cheese and nothing is happened, Kyrie Irving sticking like glue on Curry when he do it.

My Friend Said that he is surprised that EVERYBOOOOODY is hyped about this footages. He said that he could Do more Vids on IFA in Berlin, but we can be very Happy to See 2k16 Gameplay 2weeks before Release

Iaam HYPED!!!!!!

The HD video looks great, I was actually looking at the other TV to see if I can see some cool stuff in that.

He might not play 2k basketball that often but I think those weird moves and passes come from the new and unfamiliar control scheme, too.
He even talks about that it's strange for him to have 3 different buttons for passing but they like how the crowd looks compared to earlier games and that you're able to pick the side of the bigs in the PnR.

# 178 strawberryshortcake @ 09/09/15 10:53 AM
Not going to talk about gameplay, but a nice little touch to the baseline area.

It's fuller with active camera men following the action and taking photos with their DSLR cameras. It's also not a copy and paste job either. Each camera men looks to have individuality. Arena bright lights don't require flash photography. An added touch is a man using a professional TV station video broadcast camcorder on each end of the court.

The great thing is that they actually look like they've got a purpose. Their body is moving. Sometimes they would kneel down on one knee. Sometimes they would drop their arms because it looks like they're tired (DSLR cameras can be weighty if you hold them long enough). Other times they would stand straight up for a different shot. They would only take photos when the shot was deemed worthy. This is what's so great about 2k games. The small things that help truly create an immersive living world experience that not everyone appreciates immediately. It's subtle.

What's with the completely frozen and static crowd? Some crowd members even appear to be stuck in mid animation

I have absolutely no issues with anyone enjoying any mode... heck, MyCareer is my favorite mode.

People begging on Twitter for cards or codes is a step over the line for me though. I'd feel so cheap even using something that was begged for on Twitter. ymmv.
