NBA 2K16 Adds '04-'05 Phoenix Suns & '05-'06 Miami Heat to List of Classic Teams

2K Sports has just announced, on the GameStop Twitch livestream, they have added the '04-'05 Phoenix Suns and '05-'06 Miami Heat to the list of classic teams in NBA 2K16.

There will be 12 new classic teams added this year, 10 of them have now been confirmed.

Here is the list of confirmed classic teams so far:

'04-'05 Phoenix Suns
'05-'06 Miami Heat
'12-'13 Miami Heat
'03-'04 Detroit Pistons
'07-'08 Houston Rockets
'99-'00 Toronto Raptors
'07-08 Boston Celtics
'00-'01 Los Angeles Lakers
'02-'03 Dallas Mavericks
'99-'00 Portland Trail Blazers

The last two teams will be revealed next Thursday.

06-07 nuggets with a.i and Melo& 08-09 lakers is what I'm hoping for

The Lakers have enough retro teams. Even the Kobe lovers have two past teams with him in it. The Spurs still have just the one. The Spurs and Lakers each have won 5 of the last 16 championships. The Spurs are overdue for another retro team.

I wouldn't mind seeing a second Spurs team, 07 Spurs with young Parker and still in his prime Duncan and Ginobili would be great, along with Bowen.

I'm for a 2007 Spurs team as well as their Finals opponent the 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers.

Everyone is overlooking the whole year thing. The next 2 teams SHOULD be the 03-04 Timberwolves and 01-02 Nets.Bummer the 12-13 Heat made it becuase the 02-03 Spurs would be fun to play with.

Both are nice additions. I'd prefer the 07 Suns since that was their best chance to win IMO, but 05 is solid.

08 has KG at the tail end of his prime, but still, 04 Wolves would be nice.

A Kings team would be terrific if they were able to secure Webber, but that's unlikely obviously.

Who else...maybe 05 or 07 Spurs? Or a Kobe-Pau Lakers team to play the Celtics?

that would be nice...maybe in the minority but I would have rather had the 03-04 cavs with rookie lebron than 12-13 miami heat.

A Ray allen bucks team, A Jay Kidd Nets team, or early lebron cavs team would make me pretty happy. hopefully one of these can happen.
