2K is in a league of their own when it comes to Sports gaming. They continue to set the bar. They're never satisfied with where they are even though they've been on top for some time now & it shows. All I can say is wow! Hats off to 2K Sports! You guys are the reason I still get excited about gaming into my 30's. NBA 2K16 will compete for GAME of the year (not just sports game)! I don't think I've ever been more excited for a game to come out!

Just them saying things like "no more getting stuck in animations" and talking about 1000 more animations, full branching points, total control. . . that's huge.

Of course, as excited as I am, I don't expect all that to be 100% true, but even if it's 75% true, that's still a major step forward.

All sounds good, feel like I say that after every reveal like this though. You guys think any actual player V cpu or player V player videos will turn up before release?

Did they last year? I honestly don't remember. I assume they did at some point.

Thanks for the video. Game is looking great! Wish they went into a little more detail here on the defensive on ball/off ball options which is something this game certainly needs. I'll check out the blog as maybe they talk about it more there...

I've been watching the video and pausing at random pics...looks like Arena and floors got a lot of attention this year. The Cavs floor they looked to have moved the Advertisement board closer to the pacers bench for more crowd to be on the floor. The hardwood flooring in Boston looks 10x better..and I can't stop watching the 3D intro for the Raptors floor..

Great news all around. I'm curious if any of the guys at 2K can go more in depth about the in-game storylines. I can't tell if that means random "scripted" storylines will occur during games or if it will actually be a result of natural combinations of how the other team is defending you, what types of defenders they have, and how some of your players perform on the road vs at home, etc.

I am so hyped for this game.

Another big aspect of bringing the game to life is the idea of storylines. The drama of the NBA always intrigues me. Game after game you see different guys step up to play big minutes. Sure, your stars carry you most of the time, but sometimes it’s one of the role players who end up being the X factor that decides whether a team wins or loses. We wanted to bring that element to NBA 2K16 as well. So we re-worked our rhythm feature, badges, and game logic to allow for more flexibility in how games play out. Previously, rhythm was completely performance driven which usually resulted in your great players typically getting hotter and your weaker players getting colder – further encouraging gamers to always take the same shots with the same guys. But this year, we wanted users to have to adjust to what the game was giving them. That means that sometimes your stars won’t be at the top of their game. Sometimes you’ll need to find that 3rd or 4th option who might have it going that night and maximize his minutes. Sometimes players will be feeling it from the perimeter but struggle to finish at the rim or vice versa. Some players will struggle on the road while others step up. It’s a deep system that keeps the game fresh and helps bring our virtual athletes to life.

I'm really liking what I have heard so far for 2k16.

I saw great defenders on great stars, does it mean CPU use strategy and substitution more precisely now? They still haven't fixed the crowd like NBA live otherwise that would be awesome feeling. Not just playoffs the fans goes crazy, regular season in some situation happens too.
