I like to see that tied to fan happiness in owner mode (higher fan happiness = greater home-field advantage).
Apologies if I've missed something, but how would an in-game ticker for CFM games work outside of CFMs with only a single human controlled franchise?
Games don't take place at the same time. CPU Vs CPU are simmed when you advance a week, and other Human Vs CPU, and Human Vs Human games aren't always played at the same time. So how would the data for the ticker be available when you play a game?
You couldn't just exclude the Human Vs CPU and Human Vs Human games from the ticker and sim the CPU Vs CPU games before Human involved games start - You have roster cuts and trades from other players in the CFM that could have affected those results.
If there is a solution that I've overlooked I'd love to hear it, but at the moment I have no idea how EA could actually implement this.

That's great news! Hopefully it won't be the same for every team/stadium. This should be more noticeable for the road team @ Seattle as opposed to a road team @ Jacksonville.

That's actually a very good point about online cfm. I would still like to see it out into offline though.

My observations would also apply to offline where more than one franchise is under user control.
I guess you could get around it by splitting weeks into "Prep Time" and "Game Time" and having to wait for everyone to finish preparation before advancing but I can see that being an absolute nightmare for online leagues. DEFINITELY not worth it just for a ticker!
EDIT: ...and the guys who love 32 team control would hit the roof if that was sacrificed to allow a ticker to be installed.

Or have the ticker, so the cpu v cpu games are pre-simmed, and if a user transaction occurs with one of the teams, just have the game re-sim it and overwrite the previous result. Might cause a tiny drop in immersion from seeing one result in-game and ending up with a different one, but it wouldn't happen all that often, I wouldn't think. Unless you have one of those guys who makes 30 trades by week 6 every season.

It definitely wouldn't be perfect for multi-user CFMs, but it something that absolutely should be in for the single players.
How I would implement it for multi-user CFMs:
-The ticker will show the scores/stats of any user game that has been completed already, and could also show the score/stats of user games that are currently in progress as you are playing your game.
-For CPU-CPU games and other games that have yet to be played, the ticker can just show it as a preview. example: NYG(2-2) @ PHI(3-1) 4:05PM. And then it could scroll to show stats or injury status like: E. Manning: 3 INTs last week. S. Bradford(OUT-concussion). Something like that.
It's not perfect, mainly because you could be playing a 1pm game and see finished stats for a Sunday night game, or playing a night game and seeing a preview for the 1pm game. Not ideal, BUT it's not a total immersion killer, as once you get involved in an online CFM, you have to concede that games will be played out of order on the schedule anyway.

That would definitely be more feasible and would avoid the potential immersion breaking of results being re-simmed in the event of a trade or a player being dropped. You also avoid the issue online of having to store all of the ticker data in a new location.
Sort of off-topic but your line about games being played out of order in online CFM made me think - is it possible to trade for a player who has played the Monday night game and then play them yourself in a Sunday game? This scenario would only work between two user controlled teams obviously.

Not 100% sure, because I haven't played in an online CFM in a few years, but I would guess that once a team plays a game for the week, they would be locked from trading a player until the week advances.
Sim the games in the cloud while your playing your game at the same time. Remember this is next gen powerful consoles.... Cloud cloud cloud... .....lol. Have trades not take effect till the next week.

What I would like to see is real small apples compared to what others have chimed in with. I agree with them so add a +1 from me.
Maybe they could add some last minute details such as:
1. When you have a home team that does a throw back uniform. The stadim should be decorated in the team's throw back era. Even the score board and presentation should reflect that. Ie: If I choose the bucs old uni, the staduim should have bruce the buc at the 50, and the old font in the endzones with the colors etc. Also the old logos should be in the presentation as well. (something madden did when they had that AFL anniversary DLC)
2. Wished they changed the interface. This is small, but it would really make the presentation pop. If it weren't for the small M16 in the corner of the screen in most of these vids, I would be confused about if I was actually watching new footage, or M15 gameplay.
3. I know this is about presentation. But I've always wanted a mode where you could play classic superbowls, games, and teams. the presentation they could do with this would be amazing.

So basically, I would like the game already sim the games (CPU vs CPU) before/during the game (user). After a touchdown usually, you get an update on games happening during the league (like NCAA 14).
It sounds really stupid, but I'd like to hear more whistle variety...bizarrely enough it really adds to the immersion. Shouldn't take hardly any work on the front end.
sooo....did this get cancelled for this week? I assume they are all off tomorrow, its almost 3pm here on the east coast, doesn't feel like they are about to announce presentation details.

Give them till 5pm! Haha.
They have released info in the evening before though.
