That would be part of presentation and I think they have something similar to this now because if you watch the direct feed E3 videos you can hear some player chatter after some of the plays.
It would come across corny, forced, and repetitive. Also they would've have their correct voices so you would hear Tom Brady being like "in your face, baby!"
I just hope they got rid of seven nation army playing in the stadiums. Nothing worse than hearing that chant when the road team is blowing the home team out of their building. Besides, in real life I've only heard the Baltimore crowd use it.
Just get rid of all the "NFL in EA sports" stuff. Get rid of the word madden on all the banners and logos. Make it CBS or ESPN. We get it madden is an EA sports game but constantly referring to it kills immersion in ccm.
I actually kind of disagree with this... Unless you get the rights to all the networks, I'd prefer the whole "Madden presentation".
If they get CBS presentation, I don't see how Monday Night Football on CBS would help immersion.
But the EA logo and "Madden" everywhere could also be more subtle, indeed.

Madden is trying to build a brand, much like SSD is building the The Show brand. Of course, it is kinda odd they bought the rights to ESPN, but do not use them in the Madden franchise. Last year they told us they want to be the pack leader presentation-wise and do things differently then broadcasters do. Of course they are also looking for a hybrid presentation, part TV-style, part At-the-stadium style. Even though its not wat most of the OSers would like to see implemented.
I for one, like the little stat banner attached to the player after making a play. I do would like to see more comparison stats during the game and a ticker to see other games scores.
MLB The Show does a lot of stuff right, which makes it feel like a broadcast. And 2k does a lot of stuff right with league leaders/standings/calender shown througout the game, 3D animated logo's, the pre-game show and the team entrance sequence. Madden should take a look at in and implement something along those lines, I think.
For the rest, just really curious what they come up with.
Some of the things mentioned are indeed extravagant (I don't need the commish and the podium in my draft), but many of his items should be a minimum requirement for presentation in a game representing a sport that has become the statistics/betting/fantasy sub-culture that it has. Teams played for, records, statistics, playoff and Super Bowl details, team/league histories, this should ultimately be the foundation of presentation. Because if you don't collect any data, you pretty much have nothing to present.
I don't know...outside of the draft presentation bit, with the commish and players walking to the stage, everything else on the list seems completely reasonable to expect. I don't expect all of that to be in the game(but I DO have fairly low expectations), but none of the other stuff is outlandish, and are things that definitely should and could be in the game by now.
edit: Looks like EricFreakingBerry just beat me to it!

No matter how much they improve other aspects of the game or presentation, this is something that they are never going to do. Keeping awareness of their brand in the User's mind, AT ALL TIMES, will always trump immersion. Sorry.

Not to mention that the majority of those things on the list have already been done before in other sports games.
Pretty much the only thing on that list I wouldn't consider vital to having a presentation you can call 'good' would be the commissioner at the draft. The rest is prerequisite.

Those things are all important but it's just not realistic to expect all that being added in one cycle, especially knowing that CFM development time was cut in half by the transition of Josh to Kolbe & John

That's an excuse! The things I mention, I've been pounding the table for, since '06 in the wish-list threads. It's not just me, plenty of others on here & in other forums have had even better ideas, all to be ignored.
Like I stated before, Josh Looman said what was accomplished with NFLHC09 was shorter than what people think.
The transition from one Development Team to Another should not be an excuse when it comes to anything that happens during a full NFL Year!
Those NFL Years need to connect visually and with the audio. Franchise should not feel like playing multiple single season's.
Something I would like, that isn't commentary, but I didn't want to start a whole knew thread for one little thing is: I would like to hear on field comments/chatter from players - I am not talking of chatter all the time, but we do have players, who after a big play, do a dance or some other animation, and I think it would be cool to have them saying something.Like the stuff we can hear on the NFL Network show FX..
Edit: oops, this was about presentation...lol
I feel like this would be cool, but it'd be worn out if they didn't record enough dialogue and use enough voices.
I'm for it if:
A) they record a bunch of different lines with a bunch of different vouce actors and code the comments to be relevant to the situation
OR
B) all of the commentary comes straight from the Terry Tate: Office Linebacker web series. I would love to hear Peyton Manning talking trash in Terry Tate's voice
Just curious, what songs do your favorite teams play after they score a TD? I know the Packers play Bang the Drum, it was in older Madden's but wasn't in M15.
Same, I see RG3 with a single arm sleeve but I can't use them for myself. Then there's also the problem with 90% of rookies having revo speed helmets, giant pads, and dreads.

Bills play a version of *Shout*......was in prior versions.....hoping it returns or ability to customize TD songs.....as well as other key moments #CustomTracks
This is a concern for much of the community ... but not me.
Seeing the various Nike and Under Armor cleats is really cool, and adds to the immersion -- that's a pretty noticeable detail that you can see from afar. But I don't see why people worry so much about player gloves and JJ Watt's elbow pad not being exact ... really?????? All I can do is lol.
It is important to me that they get the uniforms, colors & details accurate. And, it goes without saying, none of this is important if they can't get the gameplay right. I just ask that they continue ironing out the gameplay experience, because if the gameplay ain't right, I don't care what the game looks like, I play the game to play it, not to pause it & take gorgeous screenshots (nothing wrong with that, though).
