Guys this is the work and collaboration of lots of people. This project did not just start on March 31 when the game was released, it started last year during 2014's release. Work done by all the editors and contributors for over a year has gone into this. So thank you to each and every one including the man Knight who started this project years ago. He and I never imagined it would turn into what it has. Thanks this year especially to Willard and his guys. The work they put into last years Hybrid which was based off our OSFM built a great foundation for this set. The work sheet and face editing done by those guys is/was exceptional. Please look for their thread on the Hybrid release shortly. Also thanks to Dynasty Manager and lots of the community members who jumped in to assist in final days.

This is the first of many versions to come. But in my opinion the best we have ever released. Following this will be V.2 with corrections, more edits, more equip etc. Watch for that, no timeline. If you notice any corrections that need to be made, please use this thread.

This set features:
  • Full minor leagues
  • 25 Man rosters set (big request so we went with 25 instead of 40)
  • Edited contracts (thanks to Tabarnes)
  • Equip Edits
  • DL guys in A ball
Get them in the vault

For those wanting to donate money towards the contributors and time put in, I am asking people to donate to either Ronald McDonald House in Toronto, where my family and I are currently living - that would be the best gift ever to myself and many other family's who live here so they can be close to their sick children or Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto where my 10 month old has spent more than half of his life.

For those who missed my previous post - here is the link to my family's story as well as you can get to the main web page for the house.

Ive created one. Look up user tyler2895. (Psn) I took osfm roster from milliniumos. ( i think thats how its spelled) he did the 40 man updated w scea players off the original osfm. I moved all inj players to mlb on every team. I didnt edit anything else.

Just yesterday I download the OSFM OD2015 Roster, I notice that Ali Solis (C/LAD) appers double, 1. original player SCEA in Free Agents, and 2. another one Custom Created in Dodgers AAA.

I hope you noticed and update for the V2.0

Thanks Team, great job

I know I could just use a 40-man version of the roster and the CPU would automatically assign the DL guys to the MLB roster. But the CPU also royally screws up the lineups (ie, David Ortiz playing 1B instead of DH, Ryan Howard on the bench, etc.).

I'd like to ignore real-life DL stints, but have realistic lineups.

If no one has created something like this, I may take a crack at it and share.
So I went ahead and created this roster:

User Name: HokieB01
Roster Name: OS 25man NO DL

I'm sure a lot of rosters are pretty jacked up, but the big names are back on the roster.

BUT after Spring Training, the CPU still screws up the batting orders and positions (ie, Ryan Howard on the bench, David Ortiz playing 1B instead of DH, etc.). That was the only reason for keeping the rosters at 25 man, so maybe I did something wrong???

So in hindsight, I think I'm just going to roll with the 40man rosters and call it a day.

I just had 2 quick questions... Do these roster updates work on the PS3 as well? Also, do you just need to be logged into Playstation Network to be able to download these rosters? Or is there something else that's needed?

This is awesome, I'm looking forward to buying the game now, I wasn't going to at all until I found this today.

Thank you... I'm sure those were easy questions, but I appreciate it!

It's probably been mentioned but anytime I start a RTTS with these rosters, players from A ball go missing ie: Marcus Stroman is no longer on the Blue Jays

Can someone explain how to move players on to the DL manually? I'd like to start my season as the 2015 season started.

Thanks!

Thanks!
I believe there is an option to change injuries to manual. After that, go to the tab where it shows who is on the DL and hit R1. That will take you to the screen where you can select who to manually injure

Will this roster have as many people to choose from in a fantasy draft vs. install or default rosters? Is there any issue using these in a fantasy draft? Thanks!

we are trying to upload these rosters for a fantasy draft and for some reason injured players are not showing up,does anyone know why?

I have a PS4 which the roster works great with. However, I know someone with a PS3. Can this same roster also be used with MLB15 the Show on a PS3? I saved the roster on a USB stick and the folder is labeled PS4. I could change the name of the folder to PS3, but would the game even be able to recognize and use the roster? I assume someone knows the answer to this question.

Thank you.

Karle
The PS4 and PS3 use different save formats so the PS3 user will have to download the roster from the vault on thier PS3 in order to use it.

I have made my own current version of the OSFM rosters, rated the SCEA based on stats from fangraphs from the 2014 season.

It's called "OSFM 2015 fangraph" USER: CTMILLER5

Hitters: Contact based on BABIP, Power based on ISO (Used L/R splits)
Pitchers: H/9 based on BABIP against, BB/9 based on BB/9, K/9 based on K/9, Stamina based on IP/GS.

I also edited fielding stats based on the fans scouting report, which resulted in some drastic changes. However, these changes have been nice for gameplay as I have found some more bloop hits to fall in front of poor defense, especially if you take down solid hit sliders. I would have liked to add in the vision, clutch, and discipline ratings, but I was ready to just go ahead and play the game at that point.

Again, everything was made exactly to the formulas I made relative to the whole league, so there isn't any bias in the roster. The only thing I adjusted was if a guy had an awful awful year, I would adjust contact ratings to a minimum of 35, to at least stay ahead of the farm guys.

Can someone help me? Probably a stupid question, but I'm trying to put Josh Hamilton on Rangers but he's been traded for cash and player to be named later and a fruit basket! My issue is no specific player to trade him with makes getting him on the Rangers difficult. Is there a player on the Rangers that has been released that will make room for Hamilton? I looked in Transactions but don't see anyone recent. Any help would be great! Thanks much! Later

Find the lowest D rated player to trade for Hamilton. If you give me a couple of hours I can throw a player in the vault that can take Hamilton's place on the Angels roster. It's an Angels player in their system you can just replace the D rated player on the Rangers with him and trade that player for Hamilton.

EDIT: Foo check the vault I uploaded Raywilly Gomez to the vault for you. He's in the Angels system.

I note that the contract edits have been included in this (and as such im assuming carry over into Milleniums 40man w/SCEA). However as these are the base, can I ask was it just contract length that was adjusted or salary as well?

Also was it done with the in game budgets in mind, ie salaries adjusted down to make the team break even?

For example, maybe im wrong but looking at this link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...ub?output=html - you have for example Tex' earning 23m per year for 2 years... in the roster it shows as 15m each year.

That link comes from Cots Baseball Prospectus... and in fact alot of the Yankees salaries differ. So maybe there is another site used?

Im no expert and its not a gripe, just wondered if the game is adjusting things etc
