OSFM 2015 Opening Day V.1 Rosters Available Now For MLB 15 The Show

OSFM 2015 opening day V.1 rosters are available now for MLB 15 The Show.

To download the roster, follow these simple directions:
  • Tab over to the Community tab
  • Go to Vaults
  • Roster Vault
  • Browse Rosters
  • Find the #OSFM2015 roster, created by RIDINDWNKINGSL dated 04/12/15 Download it, save it, enjoy it
Guys this is the work and collaboration of lots of people. This project did not just start on March 31 when the game was released, it started last year during 2014's release. Work done by all the editors and contributors for over a year has gone into this. So thank you to each and every one including the man Knight who started this project years ago. He and I never imagined it would turn into what it has. Thanks this year especially to Willard and his guys. The work they put into last years Hybrid which was based off our OSFM built a great foundation for this set. The work sheet and face editing done by those guys is/was exceptional. Please look for their thread on the Hybrid release shortly. Also thanks to Dynasty Manager and lots of the community members who jumped in to assist in final days.

This is the first of many versions to come. But in my opinion the best we have ever released. Following this will be V.2 with corrections, more edits, more equip etc. Watch for that, no timeline. If you notice any corrections that need to be made, please use this thread.

This set features:
  • Full minor leagues
  • 25 Man rosters set (big request so we went with 25 instead of 40)
  • Edited contracts (thanks to Tabarnes)
  • Equip Edits
  • DL guys in A ball

Is this the OSFM roster that was posted yesterday with just players moved from A to MLB or wherever is most logical when injuries are ignored? Were there any other changes made?

Actually the players who start out injured are still in A in the roster control screen on the main menu, it is only when you start a franchise, since this one uses 40 man instead of the 25 man roster posted yesterday, only then do these players get called into the 40 man roster at the start of the season. then when the roster is cut down to 25 after spring training, the computer will decide to take whoever out of that 40. so as long as the player is good enough which for example yu darvish then they will end up in the 25 man one. so to answer 1st question, yes pretty much. to answer the 2nd question, the only changes are to the players who were originally injured and the player they replace.

Players that are placed in A will only be called up if a player at there position gets injured out traded at which point the CPU looks for the highest rated player in that position on the 40 man roster to recall to replace them. Once the injury has run it's course it will send down the lower rates player, whether it's the replacement our the player who was injured.

As an LSU fan, did me a pleasure to have simmed half way through the season and see Aaron Nola logging wins for the Phillies.

Great job as always. I can't wait for future game iterations when I'm sure they'll have more brands in the game like Adidas or New Balance.

Sorry if this has been asked but I didn't see it. Are roster moves current as of opening day or yesterday? I thought it was opening day, but I saw Sean O'Sullivan was on the Phillies and he wasn't called up until yesterday.

Certainly worth a try, although as with NBA 2k, I've grown a bit partial to the regular updates provided by the game already. Is it safe to assume this roster will be updated often enough to stay current?

In any event, a huge thank you to those involved with the project. It's always great to see people making such a sacrifice for the enjoyment of the community. Tip of the cap to you all.

It was the first time the Phillies used a 5th starter so he was plugged in since everyone knew he was gonna be the one

Why aren't the 40 man rosters set? Now every team in franchise only has 25 man rosters.

Because they had mute requests for 25 man roster than 40 man rosters this year. V2 will be 40 man with bug fixes

I keep seeing people are somehow uploading their 14 rosters onto 15 (not a Franchise or RTTS roster). I can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone help me?

Where do I get these rosters? I cant find the Community TAB or the Vault.

Also, will these work for PS3 or only PS4?

it's been a *long* time since I've posted here at OS, but I just wanted to thank all who worked so hard to deliver these rosters to us. Your efforts are truly appreciated. I actually upgraded to a PS4 recently (thanks to the GameStop PS3 trade-in) so I can't wait to see how my 2015 franchise progresses...
