MLB 15 The Show News Post

MLB 15 The Show has the look, sound, and feel of baseball. It doesn't do many things great, something that is hindered by the series' unwillingness to take big risks, but it does just about everything well. And in a world where games are shipping with just about nothing working as it's supposed to, it's a relief to say that MLB 15 The Show is about as rock-solid as it gets.

As it does every year, this year's iteration focuses on how to move forward without taking any steps back. Little things like improved grass patterns and adding swing animations don't stand out too much at first, but it brings the game's replayability to an all time high. The same goes with its game modes, where simple changes should go a long way in keeping players invested in their franchise, or Road to the Show.

At the end of the day, MLB The Show is always going to be about the little things. And for this year, at the very least, that seems perfectly reasonable.

Assuming you are on a computer, instead of hitting the quote button hit the button next to it with a plus sign on each post you want to respond to until you get to the last post you want to quote.

When you get to the last post you want to quote hit the quote post as normal but all the posts you want to respond to will be in your post box.

The quote sign with the plus on the bottom right of the panel.
Click each one .....and on your final quote you want to post....hit the quote oval you used to answer them individually.

Tombas chiming in...

Apart from the grass which has a VERY faded look to it and in general looks bad from afar the entire game is very clean looking...The framerate is solid but not entirely smooth...

I only have those two annoyances. I mean the lighting is sublime along with its hourly transitions...And the official licensing is a must from now on ads so much REALLY adds alot

I's just hope for two things for the series going forward...

Better cleaner grass. muddy grass looks bad in this game and its been like that forever. its something that needs the treatment the lighting got..

better uniform fits. theyve been the same now fro about 5 years and that includes the cross over to PS4..Id want the unoifrms to have that flowing loose look that mlb 2k7 had...

Game is 9/10, but is anyone else seeing a way too high frequency of non-sacrifice sacrifice bunts? I just had bases loaded, no outs, and they sacrifice. 3 times in a row. It is still bases loaded no outs.

I have heard another people say that about CPU bunting in bad situations like that. I think the CPU bunts to much but I have never ever seen the CPU try to squeeze bunt or any thing like that before in all the years I have played mlb the show and that is since 08. I have never really seen the CPU ever bunt another then when they have no one on base or maybe with a guy at first or second but nothing crazy like that. SO odd that I have never seen that yet I see people say they see it in crazy situations like that.

In player creation mode for nationality there were just 2 options; either American or not. Considering the majority of players are American, that’s OK to have United States as the default option. However, other specific countries which also produce a lot of players should be options as well. Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, Japan etc. should be included too. For the American players, list their state to be even more specific.
