This and would like confirmation on something else...

Can we edit brims on all players hats? Some players still have those funny looking brims.

I think so. I didn't see that big of a drop off in performance in previous years games. Overall rating means very little.

- The lighting really is phenomenal.

- The clock on the scoreboard in Centerfield updates so the time doesn't stay stagnant as the game goes on.

- The cut-offs and urgency look a bit better. The triple by Werth in the sixth looked realistic, the fielders didn't take their times as they have in years past.

- Top of the first, Werth hits a bullet down the line. Single. Again. The most unrealistic thing in this game is the singles down the line. They happen constantly in this game and literally NEVER happen in real baseball. Outfielders are set up WAY too close to the line, preventing doubles, knowing that even on a ball in the gap, they're too fast and can track down gappers too.

- On dropped third strikes, in real baseball, the catcher ALWAYS moves out of the baseline to prevent throwing the ball into the runner. In the show, this never happens.

- Bottom of the first - Pagan hits a deep fly ball to the warning track that absolutely should've gotten over the left fielders head, but didn't. Why? Because the outfielders are way too fast and cover way too much ground.

- Bottom of the first - Posey hits a sharp grounder to the left of the second basemen that looked like it was going to get by. Queue the suction and it becomes a routine ground out.

- PLEASE STOP WITH THE ASININE BAT FLIP AFTER EVERY FOUL BALL AND MISS!

- Bottom of the second - Strasburg gets injured and walks off with the trainer. He's not wearing a glove. Next scene, the manager comes out to the mound and . . . Strasburg is still there.

- Diving stops seem to be way too prevalent again in this year's game
.
This is fantastic feedback and hopefully most of it will be fixed by MLB 16 The Show.

I'm sure that's half sarcasm, but I wouldn't really be surprised if the Ricketts group wanted it out. It must be so good that somebody didn't want anyone to see it before the real thing makes its debut. Always next year I guess, once it's been out in the public eye.

What about the RF board we saw in the Summer Wind trailer - did that make the cut?

Citi Field's new scoreboard in center (Basically just extended it and did way with the advertisements on the left and right side of the screen), Dimensions and it looks like they changed the "Pepsi-Cola" Font that still says "The Show"

Awesome!

I have always been able to get sliders to get this to my liking for the most part. First thing I have always done is slow down fielder speed. This year they have separated the infielders and outfielders sliders which will be awesome and make it even easier to tweak this to get it into my wheelhouse of what I feel is more sim than out of the box.

Remember they are playing the game on default and it is still a work in progress.

Now as a disclaimer I play with auto fielding and manual throwing (yep went back to manual throwing despite the blue ring under the fielders as I love feeling involved with that aspect). So getting the CPU to field and track the way I want may be entirely different than a user controlled fielder.

For anyone wondering. Today's stream will be at 2:15 pacific time.

Russell,

Are the player ratings pretty much set at this point? I am biased, but Kluber deserves to be higher than an 88. He was filthy last year not to mention the Cy Young.

Thanks.

I turn the fielding speed down to 0. It helps some. Highlight dives and catches still happen too often though.

Absolutely. It's not propriatery information to tell us who filed an injunction against putting jumbo trons for one stadium in the game. What's so special about this one set of jumbo trons that someone would care so much about them and not the rest of the jumbo trons in all other stadiums?
Yes...yes it is. I am really surprised that Millennium has not brought out the ban hammer yet. People just don't seem to realize how lucky we are at OS to have access to these people and this information. This could all go away very quickly and I for one wouldn't blame them at all the way they have been treated this year. Just ridiculous.

# 140 Jimmydm90 @ 03/03/15 09:48 PM
It reminds me of when I was growing up in a college town. Every year it was awful for about a month around August/September when all the belligerent and idiotic college kids would move back into town and make everything worse.

The good news is they'll leave shortly after the game comes out.
