Super Mega Baseball News Post

If you’re an older sports gamer, than you probably have fond memories of past baseball games such as Ken Griffey Jr.’s Winning Run, R.B.I Baseball (Classic version) and Baseball Stars. What do all of these games have in common? Well, that would be a simple, engaging, and fun approach to America’s past time. While games like this are a rarity these days, the ambitious developer, Metalhead, aims to bring a small piece of that era back, with Super Mega Baseball. Did they succeed?

What sliders are guys rolling with?

I've got hitting at 75, pitching at 65, fielding and base running at 70. Loving it right now

They recently released a patch that is, frankly, awesome. Adds separate difficulty egos for the four areas and adds a bunch of other stuff

Awesome! Someday I'll definitely be jumping into this game again, when I'm less... headachey.

Anyone still playing this? Think I'll give the demo a download and check it out.

No news on a new version?

I play it from time to time. Would have been an absolute blast with online play. Still a lot of fun.

I've been wanting to start the XB1 version after playing the PS4 version quite extensively, but I've been having too much fun with RBI 16.

It's actually $4.99 for the full game (flash sale, ends today, I think it's at 12:00 noon or something). There is a free demo available along with a free extra inning stadium pack Are there multiple seasons, and if so, how many consecutive seasons? https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-...ega%20baseball

No franchise. But you can play multiple seasons.

Is there a definitive answer on how many consecutive seasons? I tried finding an answer online but no one seems to divulge the actual number. Is it a 30 year season mode, 20, etc.?

Might be the wrong place for this. I just got this for the PS3. Lot of fun. Anyway when I loaded the game it prompted me to get the free DLC 2 extra stadiums. I understand there was a patch for this game. Was it for the PS3 also? Did I get the patched game when it was first installed or did I miss something?

It's unlimited from my understanding.

Stats don't carry over. Only attributes do. So you're basically playing a season over again with what you acquired from the previous season.
