So he's better than Dwight or you would take him over Dwight? Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Noah, and yes he is one of the top centers in the league but to say he's a better OVERALL player than T.Duncan, even at this point in Duncan's career is a very bold statement, but everyone has their own opinion.....
He's better than Dwight, and I'd take him over Dwight. And yes, I'd take him over a 40 year old Duncan as well, although they don't play the same position. He can guard almost any position, he rebounds and blocks shots with the best of them, HE CAN MAKE FTs, he can handle the ball like a wing, and he is the best passing big in the league.
Also, I think saying he's "probably a top 5 center" is a bit naive, considering he was 1st team all NBA at that position last year. But hey, to each their own.
hahaha.... I'm sorry for laughing... But Noah over Duncan and Dwight.... Those moment when hustle/defensive player becomes superstar. Come on man... Noah is a great player. Probably a top 5 center in the NBA (there are only probably 5 true centers). You might have a case with Dwight. But Duncan?.... Noah isn't even better than Gasol right now. Besides the high post. He's offense is still very limited. I do think in 2 years time Noah will be a top 3 center (if he can stay health). I can't even imagine Noah being better than DeMarcus Cousins right now.
He'll be a top 3 center in 2 years?? He was voted THE top center in the league last year, I certainly don't see how he's dropped to the top 5 bubble based on 3 games this season.

I think my overall problem with the this Noah thing is that he doesn't have post up moves. How can you rate him better than someone else that does. But again to each their own.
I just don't want to see Noah finishing in the lane like he is Blake Griffin or any of the other players mentioned in the other post.

You obviously don't know what your talking about, handle the rock like a wing lol better than Dwight and Duncan is 40 and still far better than him. You forcing like crazy lol
You are absolutely right. I thought those were the Rose 773 III's for some reason. They kind of look similar. In that case Barnes is good with the shoes he has now since they don't have them in the game.
After looking at the ratings update, I can't help but ask whether or not daily updates are really needed. I understand tendencies needing to change, but skill on a day to day basis? Seems like such a small sample size to say someone is a better rebounder or shot blocker already.

This has been something I said a long time ago. And I got beat up for saying. Especially with ratings. I really loved the once a week rating changes. But do everything else like missing players, sneakers, headbands, rosters changes and injuries on a day to day basis. It's like Rudy Gay right now. He had that 40 point game. Then had a 25 point game. And I think he scored 8-10 points last night. Do you keep him at the adjusted rating? Or do you bring him down? It's going to be a tough balancing act in my opinion.
This is great but 360 rosters have still not been updated injuries are not reflecting either. Its sucks seeing theese post everyday and nothing has been done to past gen rosters !!
So what do you want to do? Make the whole team suck and unplayable in the video game?.... I don't get request like that. Because a team doesn't play well in real life. Doesn't mean they should suck in a video game.
In a sim, that's precisely what should happen. Because right now, that's already happening to teams not named the Lakers. Teams and players should not be artificially propped up by their popularity.
And speaking of which, when does Kobe get a decrease for having one of the worst +/- on the team? His shot selection is absolutely putrid. Other players are getting daily updates. Seems his inflated rating should as well.

I don't know which way is the best in this area. I will give a couple examples. This came up last year but
Steph Curry is shooting 13.3% from 3 on dribble pullups in 3 games attempting 5 dribble pullup 3's per game. The best shooter in the NBA is shooting 13.3% what do you lower his Moving 3pt shot to? Steph Curry's on catch and shoot is shooting 66.7% from three.
In 4 games rookie KJ McDaniels is shooting 55.6% from 3 in 2.3 attempts per game. Do you raise his numbers?
Very much appreciated but as an avid Pelicans fan I was shooting around with Anthony Davis and I've noticed that whatever update has taken place to his shot HAS to be off. When shooting there's a weird hitch in his shot and the ball glitches very quickly.. He's been shooting a lot this year (and successfully I might add.) I hope that can get another look.
Bed, I know you bumped up Otto Porter & Garrett Temple already. And I might be a homer, but these dudes are firing away from the arc. 68 (Temple) & 65 (Otto) for standing 3pters. When do guys with real life 3pt % over .400 are rated so low at what they do best. Small sample size or not, let them get they "Shine" on.
