Well damn.......no in game injuries either ? Come on EA

How do you call timeout on the ps4 worth out going into to menu

I think my game's broken (xbox 1).

First some positives..
Graphically with the sweat, the courts and arenas (im a nut for that sorta thing), the colors, and the arena lighting.. I am finally immersed into a game

JUMP SHOT TIMING: I just can't get a hang of this at all. It seems totally random, too fast, or just broken

CPU players not missing anything.. Last game I stopped at halftime. Miami was shooting 70%. I was shooting a lowly 28%. As the sixers, I missed about 5 shots that were considered "great"..

The controls seem responsive and I'm really just trying to have fun for the most part.. Expectations are a bit low for me after not playing live for years... My first game against Denver, and A. Affalo was reggie miller. This last game against Miami, its Chalmers and Deng.

Any tips on jump shooting and or getting the computer to slow down on making constant contested shots?

Correction, press the left side of the touch pad. Make sure are all the way to the left. Center just brings up the pause menu. Just tried it out.

I gave Superstar a try tonight. While I agree that the game plays better at this level, I'm also seeing the same stuff that I was on All-Star.

The CPU shooting percentages are still way too high. 3's still go in at a ridiculous clip.

I'm also confused on Synergy and how it's actually implemented. When going against LBJ and Melo, I saw some really nice things. But then I go against the Bulls, and Rose takes one shot the entire 1st quarter while Noah put it up 8 times...several of them being fadeaways that he would never ever take.

I'm a little confused to why many say this, for whatever reason, find jump shooting to be almost too easy at times (using the Bucks), just takes some practice. By my third game I was able to score almost too easy, often beat the AI handily, regardless of the level.

So I purchased the game today after enjoying the demo.

It's a solid game, I enjoy the Ultimate Team mode a lot (though the 10 bonus packs already gave me a talent stacked team with an 80 OVR) and my Hornets dynasty is going nicely (2-3, playing on All Star).

My only complaints are within user and CPU error.

I don't like how when I want one of my big men to take a layup or hook shot under the paint and they do this awful jump shot which always clangs off and makes me upset. I'm driving towards the hoop yet the game registers it as a jump shot attempt.

Other issue is the CPUs RIDICULOUS ability to nail three pointers with ease. I get that it's a part of the upper difficulty but they are burying me in some games with the deep range. It's pissing me off kinda lol. It's like automatic for the CPU and for me, I hit a three pointer like 30% of the time.

Other than those issues, I'm enjoying the game and it was a solid purchase.

Well, after playing this a lot the past couple of days I have to say that there are two MAJOR things holding it back.

1. Team styles : all teams are just way too similar. When you play multiple games back to back this really hits hard. I played Portland and they posted Robin Lopez up on the low block repeatedly. There needs to be differentation or this will get old really fast.

2. No sliders: In that game against Portland I had 18 blocks using Dallas (mainly with Tyson Chandler). It is just really, really easy to block / swat the ball away even on superstar difficulty once you can read the play. With no way to adjust blocks, this is a major issue.

I notice xbox guys are getting halftime and postgame show. why?

Been playing this a bit since release and while it isn't perfect or even great, it is more enjoyable and fun to play for me than the other game (which I also have been playing since release). I have been playing with the Lakers on SUperstar difficulty with 8 minute quarters. I might have to try 7 or 6, because the scores are getting kinda high, BUT I really wanted to point out my free throws. CPU is committing tons of fouls against me, mostly on jump shots against Kobe ( once even on a three pointer).

Anyway, LAL (me) VS The Clippers

I would love to see a bit less three pointers made by the CPU, but it seems kinda a realistic number of attempts per game, actually (they only make alot of them on Live). Also, the CPU should be more active with steals and blocks.

And game 2, LAL (me) VS Warriors

What's the deal with the quick action prompt? I've played 15+ games and never seen it come up.

just played the cpu raptors....their team style was almost perfect. They even threw a couple of fast break ally oops to ross and demar...very nice. Lots of movement. Complete opposite of when I played Portland and they stood around and fed Robin Lopez in the post.

I also didn't get many blocks...with Tyson Chandler I was able to block easily in the previous game. I guess his block rating is way too high.

This game is almost bipolar...when it clicks it is brilliant. Then you play again and they all stand around in 2 bigs in etc and post up guys who don't normally post up, who then put up ugly hook shots.

Then you play again and they play perfect. Weird. Hoping Synergy kicks in and it all settles down within a week or so...with a big roster update.

Would like to see my teammate (LMA) be more aware and make themselves available for an easy pass under the basket here. Instead he stays stationary and the play ends in a ugly clip through Dwight Howard...even though I did get the foul...

Anyone else having issues getting yesterday's games to come up in tip off? Mine just defaults to Knicks vs Nets. Guessing favorite team vs rival or something.

I like choosing from match ups of last night. I guess I could set it myself but confused why I'm not seeing it anymore.

I noticed that last night too. Definitely not just you. You can go to the NBA Rewind schedule and play them from there.

Do you know if the rewind games are an accelerated clock 12 min or real time clock?

# 539 WTF @ 11/02/14 11:13 AM
It's accelerated. I just did the Cavs Homecoming one. I'm not a fan of accelerated clock.

On the flip side, the game playes really well. Melo taking jumpers from the elbows, plays called to get him there, etc.

# 540 Vince @ 11/02/14 11:43 AM
Down with this game because there's no damn sliders. Don't have time for that anymore and I prefer just pick up and play. Visuals are gorgeous. As long as the update some issues (too many heat-check threes by point guards, which should be fixed with synergy, and boundary force-field) I'll be happy.
