NBA Live 15 is available now for EA Access subscribers, giving you six hours of total gameplay. Play a quick game and post your impressions.

PlayStation 4 users will get a demo on the 28th and non-EA Access subscribers on the Xbox One will be able to grab the trial version on the same date.

Will definitely be picking this up. I was one of the few that actually appreciated last year's game so the decision was easy.

Two things I'd like to see improved is that too many "semi-contested" and open 3's are made. It's almost always a gimme for the CPU (on allstar at least) for it to go in if I'm not right on top of the shooter. Also there needs to be more variety with ball physics on made baskets from distance. Too many pure swishes. Need them to sometimes "rattle" in or skim the back iron and drop straight down, etc...

I played one game last night, first game of my Cavs franchise. Ended up winning in the final minutes after a crazy late 4th quarter comeback. Clawed back from 11 or 13 down, to end up winning. I cheesed steal, which you can't really do if you have your reach in sliders up to 80, but ended up grabbing 3 steals in the final 6 minutes which helped build my momentum.

Lebron ended up with a clutch 45 pts, Love had 21 I think, and Kyrie had 19 or so. Great showing from the new Big 3.

Went ahead and picked up an xbox one copy off of Ebay for $44 due to playing the trial on EA Access over the weekend. Should get here by next Tuesday which is fine with me.

Can you post a link? I bought a copy of NBA 2k15 in the same fashion for the same amount and it turned out to be a scam that I'm just now getting a refund for. Would hate for this to be the same seller...

Yeah. I just got a tracking number from UPS . He didn't have a negative review so I went with him.

Alright so tonight or tomorrow morning I will finalize my decision on keeping this Live or keeping the other game. I personally don't have time to juggle two basketball games. I've had a real good time with live 15 but it has solely been the gameplay. I say that by saying it's starting to feel like a really good generic basketball game. A pickup and play type game which is good to play with your friends but there is no separation to me between the players.

No signature styles and nothing that separates one star from the other aside from the looks. Minor separation but not on the level of the other game. Also, the lack of post game is something to desire.

This is a very fun game and the on court presentation is fantastic. I plan on playing multiple franchise seasons and the other games depth seems more suited to what I am fully looking for.

When I'm off work tonight I'll play the other game after playing live for the last few days and make my final decision.

I'm glad competition is back!! Keep making strides EA!!

So its kinda ruined the new car smell for me...I honestly hate I have seen em now. I just hope they fix it...its some stuff going on that I couldnt even justify as arcade its so out of control..a player with a arm going through his head or having 3 basketball jersey sleeves lol

I'm curious because when I saw the Mavs videos not sure if that was the retail version or not but they didn't run the Mavs offense at all.

Dirk was never in pick and pop situations with Monta or Devin Harris and I'm not sure why T.Chandler and B.Wright were both playing with their backs to the basket on offense they are PNR/Screener guys on the Mavs

Maybe there's something I haven't seen yet in the retail version with the teams (specific tendencies and plays they are using)

Live has always struggled with player individuality, signature styles and tendencies....which is something that's big for me..hopefully synergy helps when it kicks in....hate seeing every team post their center no matter who he is, lol

Yeah I'm playing the retail. I'm guessing I have The Day 1 Patch but I'm not 100% because I was never prompted for a patch.

Hopefully synergy will control the actual player tendencies on the floor while playbooks should allow us to tweak half court sets each team should be utilizing.

I don't believe synergy is going to control the playcalling by each coach in Live 15.

That is where EA has yet to find a good balance with the series IMO.

I think WTF mentioned we could change the coaching strategy for all teams if I'm not mistaken.

To what extent it will work I'm not sure because in past Live's we could alter playbooks and the teams still wouldn't consistently do what you edited them to do.

There was no seperation in terms of slow pace teams to fast past teams they all still played at the same pace.

This year i want to see coaching playbooks seperate a team like San Antonio from per say Memphis style of play.
