NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer (Gameplay Included)

The first extended gameplay trailer for NBA 2K15 is here, and…Yakkem!

The trailer opens up with Ernie Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal talking in studio (in the game). From there we get an extended montage of in-game action before coming back out to a funny exchange between Johnson and Shaq on set.

Intros are in this year...though I don't know if its arena specific...should've been a no issue with music if we were able to add them in ourselves but since next gen doesn't have that option yet I think we will just be stuck with whatever music intro they give us.

2k15 has really exceeded my expectations this year. This is crazy.

I never expected them to damn near take a complete U-turn as far as casual to sim goes. Charge cheese gone, 1-3-1 gone. VC-less God mode Association.

I'll happily admit I've been proven wrong. I just hope this game lives up to its expectations, and everything works. This could be a classic.

if rebounding and occasional sliding are the only problems, i'm going to be very happy for a very long time.

Somewhat but 2k14 was one of the best looking launch games and all VC needed to do was refine the animation/gfx and add more atmosphere and personality to the stadiums.

2k14 was one of the best looking games of all time and for a launch title it was damn impressive. We all knew it would be hard to surpass what they did, but there are enough improvements to the lighting, skin, even creases on the jerseys created by movement to warrant praise.

I LOVE the new Hornets unis, I wanted to hear from a Hornets fan to see if you guys liked them as much as I did. Judging from reactions I guess so lol.

Awesome trailer!
Nice to see that they are putting more emphasis on accessories this year.
I believe Dame Lillard tweeted about wearing a headband this season a few weeks ago and he's wearing one in the game already (don't know why it's red though). Nice job 2K.
Looks like I won't have to spend hours and hours updating arm sleeves, leg sleeves, shoes and so on anymore.
Too bad, that they still use a lot of outdated player models, but that's no biggie to me.
Kyle Lowry still looks like he hates food and so does CP3.
Bearded Melo would've been a nice addition btw.

That's what the casuals say that the game looks exactly the same as last year, what they don't understand is that 2K was one of the few companies which went all out their first year.. go look at madden, cod.. etc they all look the same and you can see the differences this year.

Always get a kick out of the "all they showed were highlights" posts...like we haven't had shizzle trailers going on 7 years now....you're not going to see play breakdowns and dev interviews in these things, you just aren't lol:

Anyway, enjoyed it...wish they would've showed off some new moves...glad to see Derrick Rose doesn't have Al B Sures complexion anymore...

I'm also glad to see that the coaches models look better this year. Doc looks like Doc. I'm also wondering if Wiggins, Love, Bennett, Thad etc will have new commentary attached to them?

That's one of those things that I always thought could/should be replicated, I know it'd take a lot of memory, but I remember Live changing Rodman's hair color every game in the late 90's, they had something like 4-5 styles, I thought that was the dopest thing ever! lol

That and the lack of hair movement bothered me a bit(moreso the movement, which it looks like they finally fixed), I would think they could render 2-3 different models for those types of players. Short Hair Dirk, Medium Hair Dirk, Long Hair Dirk as the season progresses, different levels of beard scruff for those types of players. I understand how ridiculous I sound but that would be absolutely phenomenal.
