Madden NFL 15 News Post

Microsoft has resolved the Madden NFL 15 early access issue for EA Access subscribers. For some odd reason, users were able to download it, but couldn't actually play the game.

Exclusive to Xbox One users, EA Access subscribers get six hours of gameplay. So make sure you close out of the app when it's not in use. The timer starts when you start the game and pauses when you exit and close the app.

So this game is fantastic, makes Madden 25 look like and play like an SNES game!

1) Click on the sign in section of the homepage
2) Go to "Add New" and enter all of the information (new username, email etc.) to register
3) Go to the MS Store and select EA Access Hub
4) Enter the Hub and fill out the information (You may need to register a new Origin account and enter your credit card info (which takes awhile).
5) Purchase EA Access.
6) Shut down your console and restart it.
7) Sign in w/ the new user account and go to the EA Access and select Madden 15.
8) The game will temporarily act as if it is going to install but then immediately switch to "Play Trial"

The game should start under the new username and you should have 6 more hours.
Thank you very much! It will be really helpful for those of us wanting to buy more time. I would have a few questions about some of these steps though:

Step 2 - Are we able to create a new gamertag using the same email address as the first one or it will block us, meaning we have to enter a new email for the new gamertag?

Step 4 - Are we able to use the same Origin account as we used for the first gamertag with the new one or it will block us, meaning we really have to create a new Origin account for the new gamertag?

General - Are data like rosters and settings saved using the first gamertag still available in the game with the new one?

Thanks!

Can we use a new account to sign up for access like discussed but then switch back to our real GT and play it? I heard rumors of it but I wanted to check first.

I love EA Access. I get to preload and try Madden early while also playing Battlefield 4 and Fifa for free. All for $5.

Opinions are opinions.

So you are saying 25 is the better game then?

I played for 2 hours last night..I need to space my time out wisely.

Anybody notice the lighting in the indoor stadiums/domes look awful?

Even the player models looks much more "blocky" at times when coming out of the huddle with the zoom cam. I want to build an outdoor stadium for my Saints in CFM just because of it. BTW can we still do that?

I find the playcall screen absolutely brutal. I pick plays by formation and it's really hard to navigate with the way it's designed IMO.

EA Access ripped me off an hour and 20 minutes on my 6 hour trial

He means he's not going to reward EA for penny pinching. To each there own, but it does seem somewhat shady to not release a demo then sell people on the idea of getting the game early for a price. Only to turn around and give people less access(time wise) to the game than they would have gotten with a demo.

We see this all the time a company will extract from consumers what they feel they can. If it isn't micro-transactions it's something like this. If EA has success giving you less for more and then charging you for the rest expect it to become a trend.

I for one agree that as a consumer it isn't always about what you have to spend it's about what you believe is fair. As long as you just go along with things because it's not too bad the more things will progressively get worse.

Comfirmed works. Just switch to your desired gt when you get in. I am a sucker.

Excellent to hear. I do hate giving those suckers more money, but the game is just too awesome not to. Plus I have the new semester of college starting Monday so I'd rather get alot of madden out of my system now than on Monday night at midnight with class all day Tuesday lol.

I would be just as satisfied if at the end of the 6 hour limit, for $5, they simply offer you the choice to play again.

It would be nice, it's like renting the game for $5 since it is the full game.

Can't have a "new" feature if it is the same. What they did was take the existing playcall screen and reversed scrolling pretty much everything. So instead scrolling down to look at different formations within a formation, you scroll sideways. Instead of scrolling sideways to look at different formations like 4-3, nickel, you scroll down. That is EA's trick. it is "new", but it is the same, but reversed.

Not really. They milk it too bad then they kill the golden goose. Gamers are very fickle. They didn't sell us the idea of early access to a full version, they literally sold us access to a full version. Not getting into the timed debate, it's a dead horse that only a select few continue to beat.

I'd take my 6 hours tinkering with Ultimate Team, simming 10 years in CFM and tinkering with rosters and preseason and playing with a created player and owner. All within a few hours and nothing I could do in any demo they've ever released.

Would I like more? Absolutely. Will I pay another $5? Probably not. If I had the option of doing so without making another account... eh, reply hazy, try again later.

What happened? Were you locked out after just 1 hr and 20 minutes of playing?

And we may adjust. It may just suck right now because we have been looking at the same thing for such a long time.

I hear ya man. I go out of town for two weeks starting tomorrow. This is my fix. Sad but true.
