Madden NFL 15 News Post

Microsoft has resolved the Madden NFL 15 early access issue for EA Access subscribers. For some odd reason, users were able to download it, but couldn't actually play the game.

Exclusive to Xbox One users, EA Access subscribers get six hours of gameplay. So make sure you close out of the app when it's not in use. The timer starts when you start the game and pauses when you exit and close the app.

3.) I refuse to reward EA by financially supporting such an awful precedent that they are setting with this. I only signed up for EA Access because I didn't realize it was only 6 hours of gametime that I'd get. It was advertised as 5 days early access. Not a 6 hour trial. To support this is to set a horrible precedent in the gaming industry "Pay for time".

EA is a freaking joke for this. I didn't have much, if any respect for them as it was, and this certainly didn't help them in my eyes.
Well thats you its better than paying 80-200$ for a game couple days earlier like some usually do or already did.

1) Click on the sign in section of the homepage
2) Go to "Add New" and enter all of the information (new username, email etc.) to register
3) Go to the MS Store and select EA Access Hub
4) Enter the Hub and fill out the information (You may need to register a new Origin account and enter your credit card info (which takes awhile).
5) Purchase EA Access.
6) Shut down your console and restart it.
7) Sign in w/ the new user account and go to the EA Access and select Madden 15.
8) The game will temporarily act as if it is going to install but then immediately switch to "Play Trial"

The game should start under the new username and you should have 6 more hours.

Thanks ... but the live account doesn't need to be gold?

No. Gold transfers to the other accounts as long as you have one account thats Gold.

Ravens at. Browns(me)
Came back from at 17-0 deficit in the second half just for my trial to end at the snap of the game winning field goal. I swear I thought it was going into a new cutscene or something. I'm tempted to believe EA did this on purpose to get another $5 from me... It work!

Can't believe some of you are doing this. It's out on Tuesday.

Meanwhile you are telling EA that this is a great service.

EA are doing the Jonny football money gesture right now reading this thread.

People are seriously buying EA Access again once their 6 hours runs out? Amazing...these companies have really got some of us by the balls apparently lol Sad.

Last and final warning:

Some of you have made your point about not wanting to spend 5 more dollars to extend the trial. Your point is received but there is no need to belabor that point. Once its made....move on to a new subject. If you continue to post about it in this thread, it will be considered trolling and you will be banned.

thanks.

I have a job, I'm pretty sure you do as well. If we want to spend $5 on something we enjoy. I don't see a problem. Cigarettes are what $15 a pack. Six pack of Heineken cost $9 here in NYC. Honestly, in this day and time $5 can't get you to many things you enjoy. At least not in NYC.

is there anyway to share saved data (connected franchise) from one gamertag to another?

Anyone know if the timer keeps going if I switch apps with 'fast resume' on?

I've been manually selecting "quit" each time in the Xbox menu, but wondered if I was just being paranoid or not.

I still have probably over 5 hours of time left since it took me forever to download, and I've got a pretty busy weekend (dad's birthday Saturday, golfing Sunday) but Sunday night and Monday night are wide open for me and after the quick game I played this morning, I can see myself wanting to play more potentially.
There are directions like one page back.

As long as the game is active...the clock is running. You are doing the right thing by quitting.

Awesome! So, it shouldn't go and re-download the game right? So when you're sharing Gold, you're sharing the games installed on the console as well?
