EA Access News Post

The official EA Access twitter account today confirmed that the platform will only support six hours of Madden NFL 15 gameplay. Considering EA Sports Season Ticket offers Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users access to the game for three full days, this news comes as a disappointment for Xbox One fans.

Without a Madden NFL 15 demo, EA Access and EA Sports Season Ticket is the only way consumers can play the game early. Unfortunately, EA Access is exclusive to the Xbox One, which means PlayStation 4 gamers are left out in the cold on any early access period.

While EA Access certainly has its benefits with The Vault, the sports gamer looked at the deal as a no-brainer, since it offered early access to games. However, with time limits set to just six hours of gameplay, that could deter many of them.

While EA Sports has confirmed demos for both NHL 15 and FIFA 15, we would like to hear from the community concerning the six hour gameplay limit for Madden NFL 15 on EA Access.

Sound off!

It's actually the full game. Vastly different than any demo we've ever seen.

Disagree?

The only thing comparable to this was the 60 minute full game trials via PS Plus that so far haven't made the jump to next gen.

I would advise some people to review the Operation Sports Terms of Service as it relates to Agenda Posting because it's getting think in here.

It's only limited time wise. It's the full game though. Not a demo at all.

It's not.

You have access to the full version of the game.

Be happy with your $5 demo. I'm just not at all happy with it.

I did not pay five dollars for a demo.

Again, opinion only.

Trials on EA Access are separate from game demos. Trials are the full game – download, try it, then decide if you want to buy.

From the man himself, Peter Moore.

What's the cutoff of "limited version"?

If EA Access was unlimited time until release date, you wouldn't be able to play after August 25. Is that not also a limited version by the definition you keep presenting?

It's not at all an early version of the game.

Now you are just making things up to fit your agenda. You've been warned once, I advise you stop.

I can only tell you one more time. You posted your opinion before. Now you are getting to a point where you are posting an agenda, as has been stated.

You have gotten two warning more than some get because I engaged you originally. Please don't go any further with this line.

Most of the people I know that have ea access didn't do it for mut cards or madden early. We have all been playing FIFA and bf. I'm guessing your 99 percent number is just made up.

I assumed the early access would be identical to the season ticket they have offered the past few years, which I bought.

I was dissapointed that their new program wasn't on ps4.

I am surprised that they are capping it at 6 hours. Very surprised actually.

Despite that, I still wish I could get it on ps4 so I could play fifa 14 for amonth for $5.

In about a week everyone that wants the game will have the opportunity to buy it and play whenever they please. Personally, I was pretty upset when I got home from work and read this thread title not necessarily for myself, but for others that are excited to play. If this was a game I was truly excited for, I don't think I'd be able to play this for only 6hrs in the span of 5 days; I think I'd rather just wait for the full release.

I'm not gonna lie - I like EA. Apt of stuff makes me scratch my head as far as features and AI that we're available in PS2 that never made it into 360 or PS3, but wow.

What a disappointment. Can't believe these dudes with this EA subscription. What a slap in the face to be so shady on the details of a hot selling point (madden).

Now we know why they were holding off so much on the details.

Smh EA

Who is saying that? I'm really asking.

I probably won't even use my full 6 hours up. So ya I'm fine with it.

Isn't that everyone's choice though?

I could pay for that opportunity or I could choose not to if I don't want to.

What's the issue since everyone has their own choice?

I would not have bought it if I had known.

You bought ea access knowing it could possibly be two hours of early play time. You should be happy you get triple that.

As someone who looked at this service for the early access portion of it, this does me no good. 6 hours? Why bother, to download it if I only get 6 hours of play?

While not the end of the world, for me and people like me it makes the service worthless. I am not sure of the point of limiting it to 6 hours.
