EA Access News Post

The official EA Access twitter account today confirmed that the platform will only support six hours of Madden NFL 15 gameplay. Considering EA Sports Season Ticket offers Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users access to the game for three full days, this news comes as a disappointment for Xbox One fans.

Without a Madden NFL 15 demo, EA Access and EA Sports Season Ticket is the only way consumers can play the game early. Unfortunately, EA Access is exclusive to the Xbox One, which means PlayStation 4 gamers are left out in the cold on any early access period.

While EA Access certainly has its benefits with The Vault, the sports gamer looked at the deal as a no-brainer, since it offered early access to games. However, with time limits set to just six hours of gameplay, that could deter many of them.

While EA Sports has confirmed demos for both NHL 15 and FIFA 15, we would like to hear from the community concerning the six hour gameplay limit for Madden NFL 15 on EA Access.

Sound off!

Still not seeing how it's a bad deal. At all.
This will be my last post as our debate has ran its course. Let me state AGAIN, I do not doubt Access offers a great deal. Its a tremendous deal. AT THIS TIME the only thing that would have interested me is the early access. The dicsounts dont interest me as I get 20% off new games at bestbuy. The games in the vault dont interest me. Will I subscribe one day ? if there are enough games in the vault I wanna play then yea.

UP TO 5 DAYS - is a heck of a lot higher than 6 HOURS lol.

The 5 days early, is accurate, the playing time, is what they held out on. 6 hours per day, and I'd be a bit happier, but its not so.

Or pay $5 and get 6 hours of early access. Completely optional.

People are really confused as to what a "deal" is.
I dont get what your issue is. People can complain about how this program isnt valuable or why I think EA's other program (Season Ticket) has greater value. You are acting like the news about Madden has been out for weeks...it hasnt. It was just announced this morning. So give people sometime to vent.

Please someone show me where it said you get access for a full 5 days? Everything I read said up to 5 days early and no where did it say unlimited.

It's very relevant, though. I see a service for 30 bucks a game. That service provides a vault of games, two of which I have. I can trade these games in to cover the cost and get other games while I'm at it. How is that not relevant?

Season ticket is in it's third year on last gen. This is a new program.

I didn't mention season ticket. I said free unlimited gameplay through the demos. EA has released one for each game for years for free and could be played an unlimited amount of time. this year they release one but it is paid for and timed.

Oh hey I figured out your problem.

You like many here can't seem to differentiate EA Sports, from EA. This is EA Access which is not an EA Sports thing.

There isn't, the way you stated is correct that early access is five days earlier.

People assumed they would get unlimited for sports games since ticket had it and are mad that it isn't like ticket.

It said no shorter than 2 hrs but did not say how long it would be. People are upset because its significantly shorter than what Season Ticket offers.

How does one become a EA Access Memeber?

So do "MEMBERS" get unlimited time?

Learn how to spell EA!!

The thing is it said up to 5 days, and in the past we received 3 full days. So people assumed it would be similar to season ticket getting the maximum amount of days. We thought wrong and are disappointed. Some people spent money they would have saved if EA had put all the cards on the table initially. But they purposely held out that little nugget of info. Surprised they didnt wait til the 21st to say this.

If the "deal" is appealing to you then that's fine. I personally have no desire to lease games I already purchased at full price.

EA and EA SPORTS I'm sure work together, clearly EA Sports games are on the EA ACCESS, you shouldn't have one division of your company do a 3 day trial for $25 and then a 6 hour trial, after saying 5 days, and ignoring questions, beating around the bush for $30 a year, or $60 a YEAR lol.

And with those unlimited demos the qtrs were 3 mins and you had a choice of 2 teams. This is a COMPLETE game where you can do whatever you want, with whatever team you want for 6 hours.
