My opinion is the Eastern Conference as a whole is the winner in the New Decision, as neither the Heat or the Cavs are a lock to represent the East in the next years final. The East race is wide open.
Yes but a couple years from now, if not as soon as year 2, the Cavs are going to be scary so long as Wiggins pans out.
I mean he did mean a lot to basketball, and will go down as the GOAT regardless of how good anyone else will be or anyone before him was. He's basically what Ali is to boxing IMO.
But I don't think he really "did more" for the game than what other game-changing players did. Or that his retired number is more valuable to the league as a whole than guys like Bill, Wilt, Magic, etc.
Definitely for the Bulls, but to say no team should ever wear number 23, I mean it's just a number. Half the older generation of fans don't even consider him the best ever, and the younger ones didn't even see him play.. I just thinking making every team retire the number is a little much.

Been telling folks this for 2 weeks. One of the guys on ESPN was spot on. He loves Ohio, still has his mansion in Cleveland, wife wants to be near family and have the kids go to a certain private school there, done deal. Wives may not earn the money, but they have a whole lot of influence. I can relate as I have lived in the same area for my 43 years, home is home.

Don't know lol. Just the potential that Wiggins/LeBron combo could be the poor man's MJ and Pippen. And Tristan Thompson if he stays will be a household name now that he has a guy that passes the ball.
Only compassion I see is if Wiggins becomes a great defender.. Then you have the best player in the world with a great defensive athletic side kick.. Other than that I don't think they really compare by just comparing starting 5 to starting 5.
