Re: LeBron James: I'm coming back to Cleveland (OFFICIAL)

I'm late to this thread. Honestly didn't see it lol. I'm shocked he went back really. I understand his reasoning, but then I think of 4 straight Finals? That's a lot of success to give up. In the long run I think he made the right decision though. He is getting older and will eventually need to be rested more so being around young talent that the Cavs have should make things easier for him.

Congrats to the Cavs fans on here. The Pacers fan in me says I didn't want this to happen(having them and the Bulls in the same division), but the sports fan in me likes this move. Great moment in sports. Even though it's his hometown it's still awesome to see a player like LeBron commit to playing for Cleveland in today's NBA.

My opinion is the Eastern Conference as a whole is the winner in the New Decision, as neither the Heat or the Cavs are a lock to represent the East in the next years final. The East race is wide open.
The loser is Coach Spo. He may make it through the 2014-2015 season unscathed but I don't see him as the the Heat coach when the 2015-2016 season winds down. In other words, his days are numbered as of Day One W/O Lebron.

Reggie Miller is claiming LeBron is wearing #32 and wants Jordan's number retired league wide.....

Agreed. Honesty I wish they would just retire retiring numbers all together.

Just throw a jersey in the rafters and maybe put it on hold for a decade or two but that's it.

I mean, by the time our children's children have children there won't be any single or double digit numbers left in Boston.

Yes but a couple years from now, if not as soon as year 2, the Cavs are going to be scary so long as Wiggins pans out.

But I don't think he really "did more" for the game than what other game-changing players did. Or that his retired number is more valuable to the league as a whole than guys like Bill, Wilt, Magic, etc.

Definitely for the Bulls, but to say no team should ever wear number 23, I mean it's just a number. Half the older generation of fans don't even consider him the best ever, and the younger ones didn't even see him play.. I just thinking making every team retire the number is a little much.
