I wouldn't be surprised if tattoos were limited to players who have some kind of star power at this point in development. Probably isn't possible, like with smaller NBA rosters, to customize everyone.
That'd be a shame but it's a start I guess.
The attention to detail in Kaep's tats are pretty brilliant though. They're such a small thing in the grand scheme of the game but it adds a whole load of immersion if the players you're using actually look like the players you're using.
That is really impressive. I remember RG3 last year but this says screenshot so this is actually real and not some CGI.
I've got a good feeling about this years next-gen offerings, I think we'll see some big leaps
Well the RG3 Clip was touted as actual gameplay as well.
My theory is that they baited and switched us: that that RG3 clip was what we would be getting in year 2, while we were going to be stuck with a beta version of the Ignite engine for 25. Basically they weren't lying to us about the capabilities of the Ignite engine but rather when they would have said engine fully implemented (which is still pretty crappy on their part).
This makes me excited for the possible gameplay improvements, as I was underwhelmed when NG 25 came out. To me it was clearly a step up from last gen, but it didn't have the big leap that was implied by their talk about the Ignite Engine. Basically it felt like they improved the physics engine they introduced with Madden 13, rather than developing a brand new engine like they claimed they did for use in all of their sports titles.

Sadly I don't think we'll ever get a "big leap" as far as gameplay goes while on a yearly cycle.
Maybe I'll be wrong but bringing a game out every year encourages incremental increases in performances as opposed to giant steps forward.
I enjoyed M25 on Xbox One all the same, it wasn't amazing but I had some fun with it and it was better than it's 360 counterpart.
I know it's very early to really get to excited but holy cow that looks so good and way better then anything I saw from Madden 25 on next gen systems!
I am really starting to think Madden 25 really was just a port and Madden 15 will truly be the next gen game we have been waiting for. Whether or not that means we will finally get much improved animations including QB drop backs is something I would really love to know. The player models in this new screen shot look more like real life now. I mean their size portions Hopefully no more giant looking QB 's
If it actually looks like that in-game, chalk me in impressed. I'm kind of contradicting what I just said right there but remember, visuals don't make a game. Gameplay does.
Kaepernick looks great in this pic but I hope they are not limited to only a few players. I'm looking forward to seeing the tats on Darnell Dockett when he's sacking this joker. Doesn't need to be anywhere as intricate, just give him and some of the lesser guys something that reflects their real life counter parts.
Ok, this is really weird. Earlier today I was thinking about next weeks reveal of Madden 15, and imagined CK being shown and his tats were in the game. Not a 49er fan of course, just kinda popped in my head at work, now that is fricken strange. Also as an aside, I have always thought EA's line about the NFL not allowing tattoos in the game was complete bulls***, and a cop out. I hope EA is serious about getting player likeness in the same ballpark as that one NBA game I shan't mention. Now how about a screenshot of a player that wears a mouth guard?
Visuals look great and how they should look in new gen...but those stale old animations with a few new sprinkled animations on top will NOT CUT IT. Nope!!! If Tiburon cannot get new animations into this next Madden and smooth things out in terms of "Flow" of this game via animations where animations connect and flow seamlessly like MLB The Show...then no matter how good it looks the same old animations will ruin the entire game.
I am giving Madden one last try this year...but they promised a new overhaul of presentation with pre-half-post time shows along with all new other presentation stuff...im expecting this..WE ARE EXPECTING THIS.
Of course then comes the gameplay and A.I. ...I did notice a bit of improvement with the first Madden on PS4/X1 but there was still much work needed to the gameplay Lets hope they refine that some more.
Also i want a fun running game...its time to try some new exciting techniques with running the football, tackling and field goal kicking and punting...stuff like that can be made to be much more fun to do. Also tackling can be made to be more fun... some of the stuff 2k did like quick button pressing to break out of tackles was fun or in 2k how quickly pressing a button to quickly sprint through holes was a blast....just little things like this would be a HUGE welcome to Madden. Atleast give us these as "options" to turn on and off..come on guys...there are still a huge amount of 2k fans out here that would love to see madden and 2k mesh together as one game...why not give us more of those 2k options in the running, tackling game? A toggle on and off button? Gosh ...don't you developers get it? Make the game fun to play...nevermind the tournament guys being the target audience...those are NOT the majority that buy your game...
