MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download Available to Download Now (PS4)

MLB 14 The Show will be available as a Day 1 digital download at 12:01 AM EST on May 6th. (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Similar to how users were able to download the PS3 version, expect it to be available at that time, give or take a few minutes.

It doesn't appear as though you will be able to pre-download, as some hoped with the latest PlayStation update. VG24/7 noted Watch Dogs will be the first game available for pre-download, releasing on May 27th.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 AM EST, the game is still not available to download.

UPDATE #2: Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue. We�ll update this post as soon as a resolution is reached. Thank you for your continued patience.

UPDATE #3: Based off of the many responses, the download should be available for everyone now.

I think what sucks even more is that this is Sony's biggest PS4 release to date and they dropped the ball big time. Like I said I pre-ordered from the Gamestop tyrants, and it still pisses me off for the rest of you. Was hoping to come here and see some game material.

Yeah and wait til more of the media outlets get a hold of this. This is why I think Sony will pull through for you all. They're under a lot of fire in a few hrs.

Maybe $5 to the in-game store at most? The game just isnt ready for download immediately. Yea its a bummer, but its not like they stole $60 from everyone and ran off with it. I honestly wouldn't expect anything more than a "we're really sorry guys".

i love these boards. It's so interesting, whether people are arguing, agreeing or whatever. And to think this type of thing goes on all over the world on all sorts of message boards, in different languages. languages are crazy when you think about similar conversations going on all over right now.

Its funny to see how PSN rating for the game is declining over time. 5 hours ago it was 4.7 out of 5, now its slightly over 4 LOL

Bit disappointing for me, seeing as its now morning and id have liked to have been playing the game... also beating myself up knowing that if id just paid a bit more and did my normal order and shipping, that id have had the game last Friday

Still ive waited this long, im sure a few more hours wont hurt, just means another cup of tea

As I said before I went to bed. I will never do the digital download ever again. This has been the biggest waste of time ever. I will now go to the store and buy it then try to fight with Sony for a refund.

Greatness A)waits haha...

Really unfortunate I had bought the game at gamestop a month ago, figured Id save myself the time of leaving the house and just do the digital and use that money towards Watch Dogs... Low and behold here I am with you guys! Haha not a good way for Sony to influence people to go digital.

I'll be calling customer support at 9 when they open to see if they can cancel it. I won't give them my money for two copies.
