MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download Available to Download Now (PS4)

MLB 14 The Show will be available as a Day 1 digital download at 12:01 AM EST on May 6th. (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Similar to how users were able to download the PS3 version, expect it to be available at that time, give or take a few minutes.

It doesn't appear as though you will be able to pre-download, as some hoped with the latest PlayStation update. VG24/7 noted Watch Dogs will be the first game available for pre-download, releasing on May 27th.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 AM EST, the game is still not available to download.

UPDATE #2: Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue. We�ll update this post as soon as a resolution is reached. Thank you for your continued patience.

UPDATE #3: Based off of the many responses, the download should be available for everyone now.

FYI, Sony is saying they won't give me a refund because they claim the download time was for pacfiic time. I just called my credit card company and canceled

And by holds the right you meant to say butchers your favorite sport? As a Hawks fan it kills me that they still couldn't even get the United Center on the ice for the past several years. They got it in NBA Live... Keep hoping that the next year will be different. NHL 15 will probably be just another rehash of their crappy game. 2K series had something going in my opinion.

Yep they are now saying they will do it as a one-time exception, what a crock. Still calling my credit card to ensure no payment is made

I will be filing suit against Sony to recover the $2.00 I had to spend on this Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze at Taco Bell so I could stay up late enough to get this download going.

Um, there is a physical version. At this rate, stores will probably be open, by the time the game is available for download.

Sony has convinced some people to not go with a pre-order digital version again, that is for sure.

when you compare it to the level of detail nba or even madden has then no... the game play isi solid but still needs work, 15 though looks like they are fixing everything I have high hopes.
