Guys.....you have to realize something.
It's obligatory for some posters to be negative in regards to The Show....and with some it's just obligatory for them to be negative. And that's okay.
And it's obligatory for people to attack those that find something disappointing about The Show.
The second someone says "I wish it was better" it turns into "get your eyes checked" fest. And it doesn't help that certain people that should be more respectful to the community also go on full attack mode just because it's their game.
The snide comments are not becoming of those people no matter how much work is put into the game.
Defenders need to learn how to practice what they preach and appreciate the game they have instead of attacking people they feel are attacking their favorite title.
How do we think the helmet popping off is going to play out? Runner calls time out and goes and picks it up or the base coach picks it up and gives it to the runner? Or maybe the fielder grabs it and tosses the helmet to the runner. The little things!
People will be negative just to be negative no matter if something is good or it isn't. It's a lot like the Sony vs Microsoft debate. No matter which one you like, someone will always be negative towards the other product simply because it's the Interweb and they will be negative.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. No one is necessarily right or wrong because at the end of the day, it's just a video game. Life will go on if a seat in a certain stadium isn't right or someone doesn't like the PS4 screenshots.

Would be nice to have that type of presentation in the game.

I hope to see all those possibilities haha. I would be happy with any of them though.
I dont mean to sound condescending or anything with what I said, but the devs even said it's not changing, and people keep whining about it. It's not like player sleeves break or make this game. I play this game to PLAY this GAME. If I want to have something uber realistic, I'll drive to a field and play for real. My point is, the devs do an amazing job making this game play as realistic as possible. And it does. Why can't people just appreciate that? No, they gotta nit pick about the smallest details. You want realism? Go to the fields yourself.

It's the people who are on here ALWAYS complaining about something or another sen if it's already been addressed that annoy me. (And as you said you didn't know the sleeve thing was addressed, it's all good man). But honestly, think about it... when you're playing in game, your not gonna notice the sleeves unless you go to replay and purposefully examine them. And at that point, you're just being anal. I know when I'm playing, the game plays so good and shows how real it's gotten, IRDC how the sleeves look; I'm focusing on if I need to cut 3 or cut 4. HAHA. (And one last thought here, the devs said it's not changing; until they rework the jersey templates, {and rework how jerseys react period}, something I think they'll do for next year, IT WONT BE IN THERE). So for MLB 14, let the sleeves go... how's that?
When were the bolded parts said? (I know they aren't changing this year btw).
I have no doubt the visuals will be up to snuff on the ps4, but what has me the most excited is the potential of year-to-year saves, quick counts & editable potential, the things that will make the "big picture" better. Even if I didn't care for the visuals, there won't be a better looking baseball game out there to be found

I feel it's ok to complain as long as the complaint is valid. But some of these complaints are just outright ridiculous! The dirt isn't new??

I absolutely agree...hence why I am telling guys to appreciate how they feel about it...and understand that no matter what....there will be some negative comments.
Learn to live with them.

Consider it a pledge of quality development when posters are beginning to look at things like that.
Why is it wrong to complain about the dirt if the poster feels it can look better?
Didn't someone once complain about the grass? Look at it now. If the grass didn't matter to the gameplay , why would the developers spend time improving it? Likely to make a better looking overall game.
So why not dirt? You can call the complaint ridiculous or you can actually admire the fact that dirt is the biggest issue a poster has in a game that has very little else to complain over.
But attacking the person for it? His complaints are legitimate and isn't the mantra "we should continue to push developers" something gamers abide by?
So again, explain to me why not dirt? Why not the Jays blue? Why not facial detail? Why not franchise mode? Why not whatever someone will eventually complain about because that's all they can point to when everything else looks so good?
