MLB 14 The Show News Post

I'm a ballpark junkie myself. I tend to get completely engrossed in the small details of a park from the dimensions to its unique and endearing features.

It just so happens I'm one of those people that make the local baseball stadium a must visit item on my list when vacationing. One of my favorite aspects of The Show is being able to see the stadiums in pretty amazing detail. With the PlayStation 4 edition of MLB 14 The Show launching later in the year, there will be even greater detail expected within the game to explore for ballpark junkies.

Which ballpark are you excited about playing in most, and which old ballparks would you like the next-gen game to eventually include?

Myself and a group of 5 friends visit a different ballpark every year.

So far we have been to:

Yankee
Wrigley
US Cellular
Miller
Progressive
Busch
Comerica
& Great American

This year, we were supposed to visit Kauffman but 2 in our group are getting married, 1 just got married and 1 is in the process of an adoption, so we chose to delay our trip one year.
We may try to visit 2 next year being Kauffman then PNC.

I would love to play MLBTS in a virtual Ebbets Field!

In the game already, I like:

Shea Stadium
Forbes Field
Red Rock Stadium

I've been to the old Yankee Stadium, Shea, Rogers Centre, Citi and Fenway Park. I saw Matt Harvey's first career complete game shutout last year against the Rockies. Took footage of most of the game.

I like to play in fields with quirks. So Fenway, Target Field, Minute Made, etc.

I've been to Wrigley, US Cellular, Old Comiskey Park, and Great American Ballpark

I love Wrigley.. It just transports into the history of the game. Needs some renovation but it's what a ballpark should be

AT&T Park

Target Field

I like playing in Chase Field and Fenway Park the most, but in honesty there aren't any parks I dislike.

Personally, I've been to Chase Field (3 times) and AT&T Park. This summer I will return stateside to add Petco Park and Angels Stadium to the list, with another visit to Chase.

Just realized how much cooler the NL stadiums are compared to AL.

My top 3 in game are

1. Pirates
2. Nationals
3. Yankees

BTW I am a Jays fan..

Polo Grounds but giving up cheap home runs down the lines can get frustrating.

# 19 Heroesandvillains @ 03/06/14 07:33 PM
AL: Camden Yards in Baltimore
NL: PNC Park in Pittsburgh

# 20 TGov @ 03/06/14 07:34 PM
Fenway Park of course and no it doesn't get old but it is old LOL...

NL and my alternate park oddly enough is Minute Maid Park (oddly because its like Fenway with the wall and such)

Occasionally I like to play at some of the Classis fields and the old Twins stadium... oh and San Fran and Pittsburgh too...
