NBA Live 14: It's Time to Leave a Man Behind

Kind of like Derrick Rose's season, NBA Live 14 might just be a lost cause at this point.

It has been 64 days since NBA Live 14 has made its return to sports gamers’ living rooms, but that still doesn’t say much as the franchise is struggling to keep fans interested in a game that lacks both quality and accessible gameplay.

NBA Live was met with backlash when it was first released, which you might say was well deserved.

The gameplay was clunky, the player models looked strange, and the overall feel of the game lacked the fluidity that the game’s main competitor – NBA 2K – seemed to have nearly mastered. After an endless string of bad reviews, EA Sports announced that they would take on a massive project by attempting to fix NBA Live on the fly.

I was under the assumption I was going to be more then one big patch, but since it's taken so long, I'm starting to believe it will be one.

Dead rising just released a 13gb patch for Xbox 1 so the options are unlimited.

Not saying the 2 games are related.

Yeah I saw that, id guess this one will be good sized with the inclusion of a practice mode and new graphics.

Yeah, Kobe doesn't look to bad though, I think he's okay. They need to get on Rondo though, what is it with video games making Rondo look absolutely ridiculous lol.

Lets be real. Sports games should be released every 2 or 3 years, not annually.

I agree, actually. Just release roster updates and tweaks here and there, but release new titles every 2 years.

Never said it was gonna happen. But it is a HUGE problem with sports video games and the cause of a lot of other problems. Some times ppl overlook that.

I'm hoping it's soon. I haven't played a full game in a while. The CPU not calling timeouts is really killing the experience. I've also had the CPU not shooting in the last remaining seconds glitch happen a couple of times before then.

Honestly if we could Manage Rosters I could probably keep my self busy until the patch. I still have no idea why they wouldn't include this in the game...I haven't played a full game in a long while myself...

I was in denial for awhile, but now I agree. Time to move on. This game is dead to me. I am now back to playing past Live games. I played Live 08 last night for 3 hours and I was amazed how much better it is than 14. lol
