NCAA Football 14 Uniform Packs 7 & 8 Now Available

Both uniform packs seven and eight are now available for NCAA Football 14. You can pick them up at a cost of $1.00 each.

Pack seven features new uniform parts for North Carolina, Nebraska, Notre Dame, San Diego State, UCLA, and Wisconsin. Pack eight features new uniform parts for Fresno State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, and Virginia Tech.

You have to do it from the Playstation menu instead of starting the game up.

Before I do any deleting, just wanted to make sure I don't have to repurchase anything if I do delete a pack. Thanks.

No you don't have to repurchase just have to download it over again.

Has anyone else noticed the packs reset the default uniforms for some teams?

The two I've noticed so far have been Maryland and UNC; their defaults are now the ones before the most recent redo (UNC has the old Carolina bblue helmet/jersey/white pants; and Maryland has matte black helmet (no logo)/ red no NOB jersey/white pants).

ND has also changed gold pants, trading in the current mustard-y shade for the khaki-er shade.

PS3 users .. Just go to Account Management, Transaction Management, Download List. Everything you ever downloaded will be there FREE!! You don't have to purchase it twice.

I didn't delete the packs. The only reason you can't play someone online unless they have all the packs you do because they didn't download the files so their system is not recognizing the uniforms from your system. So all i did was use the jerseys/gloves that weren't part of any of the packs and it worked. But like I said, with all these packs coming out, it's going to be hard to remember which were/weren't part of the packs so be ready for people complaining about not being able to play online

I've redownloaded the packs multiple times, and i still cant get the UNC ALT Carolina Blue helmets to work. There has been talk that you can delete the files then just download them again, but I dont seem to see where you can delete the files (PS3).

When you turn on PS3 highlight the controller icon "game". After that it should be a "saved data utility" folder. Click on that and scroll down to find NCAA football to and each pack should be listed. Hit triangle on each one that you want to delete. So far the only way to use that North Carolina alt blue helmet is to delete all the packs except for #7.

I found this over on PlayStation Community forums: "Go into the game data on the xmb...NOT the save data... delete the game data you need, then reinstall the game.... you can get the downloads again off your download list if you so choose."

-All of the jerseys from the old packs are still there, but they just aren't listed as the default?
-The only problem with these packs, without deleting anything, is the alt UNC helmet?
-Which teams are causing a freeze? Just Notre Dame?

Also, could someone post pics of the Maryland Red Pride unis? Thanks!

You never have to repurchase something that you have downloaded before UNLESS it's considered a "consumable" asset (aka NUT/MUT/FUT card packs; things which are 'consumed'/'used up' upon use). All NCAA content, other than NUT packs/cards, are not consumable assets and can be redownloaded from your target system.

For 360 simply attempt to "re-purchase" the item. Microsoft will say something along the lines of "You've already purchased this item, would you like to download it again?"

For PS3 if you attempt to do "re-purchase" an item it will fail telling you that it's unavailable at this time. You need to go to your transaction history as follows:

Go to 'Account Management'
Go to 'Transaction Management'
Go to 'Download List'
Click the item you wish to re-download and begin downloading

EA did retain talent, but they have been re-allocated to other game teams (aka NBA/Madden/Golf/etc). Those game teams need those engineers/artists/producers/designers so the likely-hood of them continuing development on a cancelled product is somewhere between zero and never.

Yes, for some. It would appear that if you have certain pack combinations, combinations in which the same team appears in separate packs, it is possible that some of the uniform options are not available for choosing.

I don't know if that's the only problem for all 8 released packs, but it is one that has been identified. This UNC alt helmet DOES exist, but is only selectable if you don't have another pack containing UNC.
