EA didn't let go of everybody, a lot of people just got reshuffled into Madden or other teams. Now, I don't hold out hope that this scenario is what happened, this is EA Sports we're talking about here. But it's at least barely conceivable.

No you don't have to repurchase just have to download it over again.

Has anyone else noticed the packs reset the default uniforms for some teams?

The two I've noticed so far have been Maryland and UNC; their defaults are now the ones before the most recent redo (UNC has the old Carolina bblue helmet/jersey/white pants; and Maryland has matte black helmet (no logo)/ red no NOB jersey/white pants).

ND has also changed gold pants, trading in the current mustard-y shade for the khaki-er shade.
