NBA 2K14 Developers Love the PS4?

Well, according to Mike Wang, during a podcast with PlayStation.Blog, a couple of developers won't even touch the Xbox One.

Mike will probably get some unwanted feedback from this and the Sony fanboys will have a field day, but let's not forget who he was talking to... a site dedicated to the PlayStation. I wonder what he'd say if he was talking to Major Nelson?

I'm sure he'll chime in soon to clear the air.

I don't understand this multiplat argument. The games release at the same time. Only difference on CG, was Microsoft paid for timed DLC exclusives on some games. EG - Xbox 360 got CoD DLC a month before PS3. I think the same happened on GTA IV?

I used to have a ps2 until about 08, got the 360. Only reason I might get the zone is because most of my friends have Xbox.

I'm sure the exclusive content for the PS4 is positive feedback from the devs.

I'll take this with a grain of salt (I like the PS4 more mind you,) because would you say anything negative/not positive to the ps4 or even Xbone if it's a interview for a blog/site/etc representing mainly that device?

It's like saying app developers praising Android for an iPhone blog.

of course they gotta say that. its clear sony paid a significant chunk of money to have it look like the lead development console in all the commercials. they didnt even start adding that the game was also available on the xbox one in the screenshots until a week or so ago. plus it was for an interview with the playstation blog. its not like theyre gonna come out and say "i love the xbox one too!" in the podcast.

If anyone actually went to the source you would have heard it was an interview they had with him on a show floor. He wasn't a part of the podcast. He also doesn't say the opinion is "unanimous", that's inserted by the interviewer. So keep those PS4 fanboi arguments of Wang declaring PS4 victorious coming. Also keep those Xbone fanboi arguments of how Wang was paid to say that without looking at the source material.

Again: I wasn't even comparing the PS4 to Xbone. It was to the PS3. He's says so not only in this thread, but says so in the interview itself.

I totally agree with your comment. I must have Halo and Titanfall, and I have played through every Fable game. Sony needs some better game franchises that are console exclusives.

What you mentioned are FPS..That caters to majority of the american market. imo, those games are boring.

I'm a gamer, but I also have two small children and a wife that loves Kinect. Add on all the entertainment features and our choice was a no brainer. Forza is one of my favorite games outside of 2K and WWE and multiplayer Halo is always a must. I have nothing bad to say about the PS4, but to me it's like choosing a Benz or BMW. Whichever you prefer, no one should be able to clown you.

I play online a lot and kind of like 2k vs live XBOX HAS PROVEN THEMSELVES ONLINE THIS GEN WHERE PLAYSTATION has not and until they can prove their online experience is just as good I will buy XBOX ONE day one and PS4 at a later date. I'm getting both only so I can get the exclusives of PS4 but online play will be xbox only

The main reason I am leaning towards the Xbox One over the PS4 is because of the online servers. I have more trust in the online aspect of Xbox Live vs PS Plus

I never owned an xbox, but I don't get why people are having issues with ps3 online? The only issues I've dealed with either had to deal with p2p connected games or games that are known for bad online issues. I never had an issue with psn. Now its paid, I think it will be more stable.

If your a baseball fan at all, then Im not sure how you cannot have a PS console. Its why I switched in 09 to the PS3 was because I needed a baseball game.
Glad to hear that the PS4 is a great system and sounds like its a lot better than the Xbox1. I doubt I will be buying a PS4 anytime soon unfortunately do to finances, but when I do get the money that will be the system I buy.
