AJ, is it possible to give the changes of the NCAA import?

Like for QB's

Throw Power is -1 to -8 of the NCAA rating

i.e. the ranges of the drops?

I found some areas were TOO HIGH overall

AJ,
Thanks for the heads up. The big Question-will we need to restart our Current Offline/Online Franchises for the fixes to take effect?

Any word on tuning CPU QB sims stats during offline CCM? CPU controlled teams have QB's throwing barely 30 TD's a season while throwing 20+ interceptions?

Tell ya one thing, for everyone saying that this or that wasn't fixed, you might want to take note of the very last line that states other miscellaneous fixes. That usually includes a gang of **** that they don't list to include other major gameplay fixes on top of minor uniform gaffs.

Edit: Just read AJs post. Exactly.

Just out of curiosity what past experience with a patch leads you to believe this is the truth? Start naming some legitimate fixes that werent in the patch notes in prior patches and Ill say hey, I guess you were right. The complaints so far here arent oh but they didnt fix the collar on so and so's unis's, theyre common requests that ive read pretty frequently, so its natural to complain if they werent addressed in a patch, especially sim stats that were far better for QB's last year than this year, and anyone who thinks otherwise is welcome to prove it.

In all seriousness......the two most important fixes for me were.....

1. Repeating draft classes in CFM - I am about to advance to week 2 in year 2 and will wait till I DL this patch before doing so. I love using the Madden created draft classes....way more fun. And now I don't have to worry about my current CFM being ruined by this bug that is now fixed.

2. Stuck in the mud on "Slow" speed on pitch and toss plays - I can now go back to the absolute best game speed in M25 with slow. I developed my sliders to be played on slow (can be played on normal as well) and now I can enjoy the great animations and organic feel on slow.

Tuning down the truck stick was also good as it was very powerful.

Overall.....since I already love the game....this just tunes and fixes a couple of major things.

I wish Auto Subs would work right.....but I solved it by going back to default fatigue.....and doing my own subs. It is what it is. I am not going to let that ruin what I feel is a really fun game and the best playing Madden this gen.

I have not had this much fun since last gen with Madden. And it will probably go down thus far as my favorite Madden game ever. With Madden share......it has taken it to new levels. Rysumm's classic rosters are insanely good.
Yea, I'm going to fire up the game here in a sec to check it out. I'm wondering if its a fix to the actual animation because there was no struggle with the trucking. Its like the defender was a piece of paper and just fell flat on the ground without any noticeable interaction with the RB.

Also, first off, AJ thanks for the response. One question. Dont know if you can answer it or not, but will there still be any support with NCAA 14 reference title updates and that other thing you all used to make improvements (The name escapes me at the moment).

Brother, I wish I could answer you with specifics but I cant at the moment. The past experience I'm talking about actually happened with NCAA 14, the game played damn near completely different with the secondary. There were just areas of the gameplay that played much more crisp, and those areas weren't mentioned in the specific patch details. Also, check AJs last post, he named a ****load of fixes that weren't in the details, exactly what I was just talking about.

General
• Improved stability in all game modes.
• Fixed various menu and UI bugs.
• Fixed an issue with Gameface, which made the eyes render gray.

Gameplay
• Tuned in-game injuries, which were occurring too frequently in some cases.
• Improved an issue where the game ran slow in some cases on PS3.
• Tuned an issue where players with a high Catch In Traffic rating were still dropping too many passes when they were hit after a catch.
• Tuned pull blocking on the offensive line.
• Tuned down broken tackles while using the truck stick.
• Fixed an issue with toss/sweep plays when the game speed is set to Slow.
• Tuned a defensive blitz when using 4-3 Stack: Thunder Smoke.

Ultimate Team
• Fixed an issue where offline users who earned a Gold in a Skill Tutorial would not receive the content within MUT.
• Fixed an issue where the user would be credited with a LOSS in the History Panel instead of a WIN when the user’s opponent quits the game.
• Fixed an issue with Solo Challenges awarding players a win without finishing the game.

Connected Franchise
• Fixed an issue where users would get kicked from the servers while advancing their franchise.
• Fixed an issue where some players from an Imported Draft Class would not have facemasks.
• Tuned ratings for Imported Draft Classes. (They were coming in too low compared to their NCAA 14 ratings.)
• Fixed an issue with importing custom rosters where real NFL players have changed positions.
• Fixed an issue with accelerated clock in CFM H2H games.
• Fixed an issue where if a user created a new character in a CFM where they are the only member, other users couldn’t find/join the CFM.
• Fixed an issue where the News Center would display the wrong player in the Draft Stories photo.
• Fixed an exploit where users could make trades outside of week 8, when doing so from the web.
• Improved depth chart philosophy so every player at a position is graded on the same player type.
• Fixed an issue where the same draft storylines would appear in consecutive seasons.
• Fixed an issue where the Vikings stadium overlay would show unrealistically low temperatures and heavy snow during the preseason.
• Fixed an issue in Owner Mode when making scheme changes would reset after advancing the week.
• Fixed an issue where toggles for Heat Seeker, Switch Assist and Ball Hawk would be OFF in game even though they were set to ON in the League Settings.
• Fixed an issue with re-signing players.
• Fixed an issue where the Goals tile would be locked in the Playoffs even when the team was still playing and achieving goals.
• Fixed various incorrect records, names and dates in the NFL Records screen.
• Fixed an issue where a user’s playbook would be changed when they started a CFM with a custom roster.
• Fixed an issue where Owners were not notified when they made the Hall of Fame after retiring.
• Fixed an issue preventing users from entering some passwords in Private CFMs.
• Fixed an issue where CPU controlled teams were allowed to release injured players.

Madden Share
• Fixed an issue where filters were not updating.

Presentation
• Reinstated touchdown celebrations in all online game modes.
• Improved the logic used to select the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Game.
So, nothing about the pre-existing injuries not carrying over into CFM?

Wish I could say I was surprised.

I am angry, though.

Nice! I had pretty much eliminated tosses and sweeps from my play book because I like to play on the slower settings. now I have a few more options to unleash Bettis with. lol
two of my biggest complaints addressed: stuck in mud and runaway trucking. thanks for the info

Sad to see that sim stats weren't addressed. Also the story line draft was messed up with guys having their stories were read all out of whack. I hope the ps3 menus were optimized cause they aren't very smooth at all.

I see the toss sweep glitch on fast speed also. More of a hitch in the RBs step after getting the ball rather than a full slow down, but annoying none the less.

I was hoping to see the fleshed out player card in CFM, to include the past teams the player was on when accumulating the yearly stats presented. Totaling these stats on that screen would be appreciated as well. I believe the play now mode has this info, while, ironically it is omitted from CFM- the very mode it could benefit the depth and immersion of the user experience the most.

Ultimately, I consider this patch a fail if this, sim stats, easy run game, and auto subs are not addressed. I also hope they didn't break the injury frequency. They should have left that alone for sure. Actually, adding in some MORE injuries for the user OLine would be spot on, as these happen far too rarely, if ever.

Oh, and how 'bout every CPU punt doesn't bounce into end zone for a touch back? This would really add to the field position battle and realism of the game. I think I have yet to see the CPU miss a FG attempt as well.

OK, gonna cut myself off....I could be here all night.

They were happening at a decent rate, but the severity of them wavered too much. I'm playing with injuries on 30 right now, which is fine. I'd really, really like to see more small injuries. And, the injuries lining up with the actual on-field play. Seeing somebody get a broken jaw when they get a soft tackle is ridiculous.

Do I have to start a new Owners Mode to get the updates?

How in the world was pass rush/block shedding for CPU not addressed....

Dumbfounded.

Yeah, A&S, I am complaining. Sorry.

Well, my two biggest issues have been solved... I think. I hope that owner mode fix is what I think it is. I don't know if the schemes were resetting after each week... it seemed like changing the scheme just wouldn't do anything.

Of course, I haven't played far enough into a franchise to discover other major problems yet that people are talking about. I gave up after I did a fantasy draft when I discovered that all the players I had just drafted had crap for ratings since they didn't match the scheme I drafted them for (and I couldn't change it)

Add me to the list of those who would have like to see the QB sim stats tuned.

Is there a release date/time-frame for this?

Were any of the issues fixed for this gen also addressed for next gen? Or are they two completely different games at this point?

# 60 theblasterkid @ 10/23/13 11:28 PM
Wow this is crazy! How about the freezing issues and slow a*** menus they got for the PS3.
