I like it and it looks really good, still too many things generic....Kobe and Nick Young faces are terrible and very inaccurate. D. Rose face isn't good.
Lighting and animations are cool, except the contact with players going the bench, high fives and hands don't even bend when they touch, no finger extension..
Other than that, faces look crazy nice on all the other players. Rookies have details and loving that...And still too much Lebron....we get it he's the cover man, but from beginning to end of trailer...too much...
Really weird that the sweat and skin shaders in 2K6 look better than what we have now in cur-gen 2K14. 2K11 was the best graphically in some ways. 2K14 actually looks kind of like a cartoon now. Maybe this was planned to make the jump to next-gen look even bigger.
#EVIL
I think the reason why because they dedicated so much to that. I mean just look at the jerseys and the faces kinda explains it all. Will be really intresting how they improve after NBA 2K14 next gen too ... Usually the 1st years is a learning experience in some ways in building up to the next year. Either way the game looks amazing and I'm so eager to get my hands on that copy!

Launch Title for me, been paid off since August..
Disagree 100%
A tad off? Maybe. But terrible and very innaccurate? nahhh

Rose looks fine, but I do agree Swaggy P and Kobe can be improved. Kobe's flesh tones are really harsh around the eyes and while it sort of looks like him, it looks like he hasn't slept for weeks and the German experimental treatment is starting to turn him into a raging zombie. If they could even out his skin tones in that area a bit more, he would be on point.
This is all in comparison with all the other faces that look fantastic and don't have his problem.
Now the reflections off his head-- he's got the nicest, most realistic ones for some reason.

He IS one of the only bald players in this trailer. Hence the reflection.
Well, I know I've been asking this question too but this doesn't prove a thing.
Why would they change Kobe's dunk package? He's still Kobe.
Sent from my mobile device.
Yeah i kinda thought the dunk anthony davis pulled off in the trailer was kinda over the top. He's not that great of a dunker he's just huge lol. And kobe can still thrown down some nice dunks sometimes but as a kobe fan i feel like they've exaggerated his dunks for a while now, he's not #8 anymore.
It def plays a role. If 2k was still doing football and the quality was up to nba 2ks then madden would have to make huge improvements or their sales would go down. Its not rocket science....Competition brings out the best in companies...cellphones, cars, tvs, you name it. EA can say what they want but they basically ported the old engine over because its sells alot and thats all they care about.
Gameplay...gameplay...gameplay...This game could look photo realistic but if it has the same legacy problems as its current gen counterpart it will be a waste...Great it has purrty graphics...
Now lets hear about how they will remedy the problems that exist with the 3pt shot or offensive rebounding or players standing out of bounds or players making absolutely no attempt to go for a loose ball...I'm a graphics whore just like the next man but playing this game H2H or online is a complete and utter mess. Huck and chuck 3's and spam on the steal button. They need to discuss AI and how this game will play more realistically.
I have a feeling this game will look a bit different but play the same as the current gen game...Hope I'm wrong but being so tight lipped on gameplay enhancements is not a good sign.
Dude Didn't you compare Madden's graphical leap with this game and say they were both minimal? Now that's laughable. After reading that I can't take what you have to say seriously.

A waste?!
The current game has issues but is a pretty good game. It can also be adjusted through sliders to address many issues.
A pretty good game, the best basketball game made so far, with incredible visuals.
A waste?!
I really don't get the guys that don't think graphical improvements matter at all. If the base game stays the same but the visuals take a huge leap, the experience is still significantly improved.
Now if someone actually can't even stand to play 2K, I guess they can go play Madden next?-cur?-i'm-not-sure-gen.

The thing is, even if these little details aren't perfect, we shouldn't forget that this is 2k's FIRST crack at the next gen consoles!
If this is the starting point for the next generation of 2k basketball, I can't even imagine what the game will look like at the end of next gen.
2k's track record shows me that they improve the with every release.
And from where I'm sitting, the future looks bright....
The haters are too funny. If this game looked even remotely like current gen, like some other next-gen sports titles, people would be quick to bash and call the developers "lazy." Yet, here we are with possibly the best looking next-gen sports title and people are screaming graphics don't matter. Gameplay, gameplay, gameplay? Well, doesn't current-gen provide improved gameplay and minimal (at best) graphical improvement?
Great--Looks fantastic but the control has gone WAAAAY south.
Sorry just like everyone says about Madden--how does it play?
2ks basketball control started sucking 2 years ago.
Da hell you talking about? Control? Did you feel control in that video? You have AMAZING superpowers to be able to judge controls through a video.

Agree about Kobe. Davis? Not so much. Kids got a lot of talent dude.
