2K Sports has released the first next-gen gameplay trailer of NBA 2K14, weighing in at 1:33 of goodness -- set to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

If this plays like current gen with these graphics I would be a super happy camper for this year.

I noticed that as well. Very pleased. This was just plain awesome. The dynamic expressions were great too.

One thing I couldn't help but notice was the crowd's lack of involvement. They seemed emotionally flat. I'm thinking stadium atmosphere can be an area where Live can stand out this year.

I hope Live can have a strong showing tomorrow!! This is why competition between two games is so great!

Love the witness tattoo on LeBron's leg which leads me to believe bye bye global legs and possibly more skin tones. About damn time.

True but if 2ks history is any indication it should be the closest thing to the real sport available. It may not be perfect yet but its pretty damn close (assuming a similar system in place for the next gen)

. Was hoping to see some 'real gameplay' from the standard broadcast camera but I realize they do this to hype people up.

I like the subliminal messages 2k is putting out there. When Phil Collins sang "Rose" DRose popped up...best 2k trailer ever. Best video ever!

Durants player model is rediculously spot on! I was planing on getting live also just for a change of pace but the void may still be to wide to enjoy it at all. They have a really hard act to follow. I can only imagine what they (2K) have in store with the presentation.

If this is true I'm okay with it. I'm tired of seeing the over hyped crowds - which is not an accurate representation. I wanna see the difference between an emotionally charged game and a 'just another day at the gym' one.
