Madden NFL 25 News Post

It appears as if EA is planning on showcasing gameplay very soon for Madden NFL 25 next-gen. For now, here's a quick teaser video to get you ready for their 'feel it' feature. We're expecting the full reveal next week!

In the video, you see a variety of teams and quick shots of gameplay. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson opens up the video talking about how making every step count is important as a running back.

You then see Peterson juke a defender and Jamaal Charles spin off of an Oakland Raider defender. The next clip shows Joe Staley, OT for the 49ers, holding onto the jersey of Cliff Avril, DE of the Seahawks. The next clip shows Ryan Clady and what appears to be Tyson Jackson of the Chiefs jockeying on the edge of a pass play as well. This tends to indicate, to me, that the offensive line play will see some pretty big upgrades in the game. You didn't see that kind of jostling on current gen.

There are other various clips of footwork and a few moves as well. All in all, the video tends to show some potential for notable improvements on the field. We'll know more for sure next week.

It will prob be a back of the box feature next year. "Dynamic sideline tech". With a Gatorade drinking mini-game. Dynamic Hydration tech.

Madden has looked great based off of the screenshots in the past, but the library of Next-Gen photos leave much to be desired. It is rather underwhelming. The details that are shown aren't even noticeable while playing the game.

The animations didn't seem to take a "next-gen" leap either. I hope they incorporate animations to make it seem smoother, the players appear stiff. Would be nice to see players stretching for the first down markers

Are they going to release the info on Monday or do you guys think we will have to wait until later in the week?

How about something basic like the terrible towels, or those weirdo Raider fans with the black paint and spikes, or some other stadium specific things? I bet my house and car that those features are being hoarded until they completely run out of back-of-the-box features, just to resort to that.

Nice pic and nice point. We don't really talk much about all the stuff that would complete the NFL feel. Not just players stretching for the marker - what about defensive players slapping the ball out of that outstretched hand just after the whistle, *any action* after the whistle, Jim Harbaugh screaming at the ref, receivers standing up after a collision in the secondary and asking for a flag, d-linemen holding their arms up to make the holding foul more obvious, ball carriers going down easily to avoid a big hit and so on? Obviously it's silly to wish for better details when the big stuff is kinda sloppy, but it's still a shame we're seeing animations for such a narrow range of events.

Tiburon has no creativity when it comes to stuff like that. Just look at the way everyone moves and gets set. The way receivers go in motion. The way QB's call for audibles. No imagination shown at all.

It looks good. That's never been the problem. But the animation looks to similar to what we have currently. I afraid same old song and dance. It's all about gameplay gameplay! And physics. It's just not a strong enough showing.

They should have released the True Step info today instead of that MNF video.

so I just read that Watchdogs just got pushed back between April 1 and June 30, 2014. Very disappointed as I per-ordered this, paid in full mind you. Statement from UbiSoft:

"Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming. It is with this in mind that we’ve made the tough decision to delay the release until spring 2014.

I wonder if they saw some these comments about madden lol. Could Madden 25 be next to get pushed back?

I would be totally in favor of them delaying the game if that meant that they would make it a whole lot better. i SAY DELAY IT! delay it until next year, theyve already made their money on this one. But they won't, theyre only concerned about the bottom line. Where is the new feel it trailer, dont they usually drop stuff on tues?

And why would EA even think of delaying Madden next gen? As far as EA is concerned they could not be happier with the way Madden 25 next gen has turned out. I mean come on guys we are going to see the blades of grass in Madden 25 next gen. Does it really get any better then realistic grass?

I don't know about anyone else but I would take Madden 25's Blades of grass any day over 2K8 animations.

Well, the way it's going the one thing at the end of the day that EA cares about is going down (money), but I really don't see them pushing the release date of Madden as there's really no way that they could push it any decent amount of time and not miss the holidays and the NFL season. I think it's definitely possible they're thinking about pushing specific features and changes to next year, but they do that every year.

They played GTA5 and thought to themselves "we must do better".

If madden can fix the player movement of the game during a delay, they would have alot of explaining to do as to why the game has looked the way it does for years now...but being realistic EA will not delay and miss Black Friday and the Christmas holiday sells from negative feed back over a trailer.

EA ain't missing out on that next gen cash. This game will definitely come out. No delays in sight. Tiburon is thrilled with the state of the game.

I just heard about that too and it sucks now I have to find a different game to get for my PS4. As for your question no I don't think they will push it back.

I really hope nobody on these forums buys this game.

People gotta learn to control themselves and realize they are getting swindled.

VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLAR. As long as you keep buying this lazy half assed product, they are going to keep making it.

Show some discipline and spend that money on a better game. Madden is and has been trash for quite some time.
