So people aren't buying the game because screens aren't fitting preferences and they haven't watched a gameplay video yet...

Why assume that those with issues haven't seen the gameplay video? Just because people aren't talking about that video in the screenshot thread doesn't mean people haven't seen it.

Yes. The ESPN saints vs dolphins simulation video and the graphics trailer.

Was released yesterday or day before.

I'm really shocked you haven't.

In my opinion this is where Madden needs to strive to be in terms of graphics

Compared to this:

No bueno
That comparison made Madden look like Current-gen Im hoping they have all the players faces and tattoos like 2k does

The NFL will not allow tattoos in the video games that represent their product.

if you click that link to EAs website it shows you marshawn lynch in the new system. funny thing is here is that they are promoting graphics and if you look at his helmet it is actually going through his shoulder pads and disappears. SMH EA will never learn

1.) we've gotten no clear look of gameplay from the presentation trailer
2.) People's premise from their conclusion in that case is that EA will always be bad based off of 1 out of 2 generation consoles
3.)The gameplay from that video wasn't confirmed that it was the same gameplay build. No one has any confirmation on anything

*I'm trying to see gameplay with the players we saw in that presentation trailer not that espn thing. Those were two completely different things*
Therefore I'd think it's not that easy just to draw conclusions yet. So many variables to this thing.

I'm sure you know it's called "clipping"....All video games suffers from it at some point, because they are video games.

So the Sports Center video was possibly current gen models and gameplay with next gen graphics/lighting. That's what you're saying? Because if that is an EARLY build of next gen, it mind as well be the final build of current gen with a texture/lighting DLC pack. Secondly it was already confirmed on the same video by the same people who uploaded it, that it is indeed next gen gameplay with "Next gen power at work". So yeah we do know what was shown is next gen, unless they're lying to us to make us believe that steaming pile of mess is actually next gen.

I understand but you have literally millions of screenshots to choose from if you're EA. Why would you choose one with clipping lol. Makes no sense IMO

Fair point. But I personally am not fussed with it at all, cause even if they don't show it, it will still be in the game regardless. I mean you don't see the sun at night, but you know it's still there.

Sad thing is it says the lines blur between the players and their real life counterpart yet EAs Marshawn Lynch is thin when hes actually pretty big in real life.

Are the pictures that big of a leap over madden 06?

# 56 apollon42 @ 10/02/13 10:32 PM
We've seen fancy stadiums and 3d grass 7 years ago. If I told you this pic was madden next gen, could up you honestly tell the difference?

# 57 mestevo @ 10/02/13 11:00 PM
The stadium shot is one thing, but that player shot? You're intentionally ignoring a lot of details if you anyone comes close to confusing that for next gen.

# 58 SamoanSteelerFromAus @ 10/03/13 12:19 AM
in one of the photos i see a break tackle animation that i've already seen too much of in current gen maddens *uugghh*

Yea there is a confusion over that. Apparently there was a miscommunication of some sort. But EA actually took off the retweet of that saints and dophins video they got from espn. I Remember seeing other info about that but I can't find it. That is also why OS closed the post about that video after the actual Next Gen Presentation trailer was released shortly after that.

Did they take down the photo of D. Ware that everyone is talking about? I don't see it.
