NBA 2K14 Next-Gen TV Spot

The NBA 2K14 next-gen TV spot is live, with a new look at the next-generation of NBA 2K. The video shows off LeBron James in some insanely atmospheric lighting and then cuts to several gameplay sequences. A pretty exciting, although limited, look at the next generation of 2K basketball.

2k and live is like mayweather and canelo. I thought live had a chance they said all the right things and ppl wanted to see the guy on the top lose. But when the fight starts your reminded of why they're the greatest and its gonna take something great to be defeated.

I truly am blown away by everything that has been pointed out here. The faces are extremely accurate and the textures are very impressive. My only gripes are in one of the screengrabs I think I noticed the stripe on the side of the Heat Jersey is wrong it looks like it has only red and white on the sides and no orangeish yellow like how it is on the actual jersey. Also it appeared like the player models and the tighter jersey fit both looked a little better in the pre alpha next gen reveal trailer from June. They all still look phenomenal though and I'm still confident that it will look great by the time it's all finished as this was confirmed to be an early build.

Really, you get that from a glorified screen shot, which is all these teasers from both company's are. People need to wait for real game play before they make a decision on what game meets their needs.

Yes, and Lebron's body shape looked spot on. Beluba mentioned that they addressed the body shape of Durant and I hope across the board. I hope that the following is a given on next gen:

1. Correct uniform fit and colors
2. Home and away accessory colors set to home and away jerseys and editable
3. Home and away sneaker colors set to home and away jerseys and editable
4. Variable leg sizes and body types that are editable in game beyond adjusting weight. Many guys in the league have leg tat's. Legs need to be treated as arms texture wise.
5. Correct court colors and lighting

This is their opportunity to get it right the first time. So far so good.

Meets their needs? Live has work to do under the hood and im not talking about just graphically..Im talking about animations/robotic movement etc..

LOL, both have problems that need attention, let's wait and see real game play before we make a choice... I know thats a crazy thought but that's the road I'll take.

Looks amazing.
I am wondering if they have classic teams for next-gen. Being able to play as the 91' Bulls would be awesome.
Glad that Durant player model was updated.
I have both ps4 and xbox one on preorder...both day one.
Debating which one to keep. I would like to know if there's a difference between the ps4 version and the xbox one version.

Can't wait to see more.

I hear your comment every year and it becomes the same story..Remember we talking about a company that canceled basketball games. Clearly let me remind you of live elite right? Both companys isnt perfect but i can say atleast 2k got the animations down right and they going to show out next gen..LIVE is way behind and stuck in they ways man dont fall for the "live is back" hype

Can some one explain to why 2k is still using that 2D net model?.. It blows me that the net looks like paper instead of strings/rope .. All else is amazing!

Amazon is doing it for upgrading XBOX 360 to XBOX One - http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...=operasport-20

There is no $10 upgrade program for PS3 to PS4 in the US. It's Europe only.
