NBA 2K14 News Post

The NBA 2K14 next-gen TV spot is live, with a new look at the next-generation of NBA 2K. The video shows off LeBron James in some insanely atmospheric lighting and then cuts to several gameplay sequences. A pretty exciting, although limited, look at the next generation of 2K basketball.

What did you think?

Really?

And about the PC stuff: Yes, you could install ENB mods to get a similar lighting effect, but just about everything else (from what we've seen of next-gen, at least) looks far more advanced than anything I've seen on 2K13 PC.

They have never announced anything of the sort, most likely cause they don't know when they will be back in stock.

I think they said something like for the xmas holidays.

Ima have to disagree and ive played nba 2k13 @ 1080p/1440p maxed out. NG engine looks LEAPS AND BOUNDS over 13/14 current gen modded on pc. Once nba 2k15 comes out NG on pc you will see

The best I've seen on PC is this:

And even that doesnt touch this, but I still I would suggest some things to make it look better, cause to me its almost there to looking like a real NBA game, but theres elements that I still see that make me know its a video game.

Nice graphics. Would love to see the players on the bench in actual warm-ups or sporting towels, though. Looking forward to game play.

I'm now convinced that some of you are cynical just to be cynical. Get real, That looked amazing in every sense of the word.
I'm convinced some of them are just here to get a rise out of people.

I hate this elitist crap from PC gamers that make other PC gamers look bad....right now NG > PC....I personally don't want to see the current gen graphics on the PC since it looks exactly like 2k13 no matter what modders do!
He's not a PC elitist. From what I can tell he's a Live guy and 2K can do no right.

I'M a PC elitist, except when I recognize what consoles do better, and PC 2k11-13 with mods don't begin to approach the detail, realism, atmosphere, and ambience of next gen 2k-- ENB, texture, and cyber face mods or not.

No. Just no.

To me PC 2k is a neat hobby toy but console 2k has been the more robust gaming experience.

Now modded next-gen-PC 2k15 could be phenomenal.

Wow, those graphics look great, wish I could get a PS4, but that wont be happening anytime soon with finances.

I can't believe I forgot to pre order my ps4. Now I have to play the CG which I'm not that upset about for a while. I really hope there is a place not taking pre orders at and I can just get there really early on release day

I got that idea from the Live forums, the eternal optimism for Live 14 and the continual pessimism over all things 2K.

From the cyberface comparison thread-- PC Mods:

Cartoonish shaders, Anime Parsons, Melted Wax David Lee, and Monkey Lebron.

That looks nothing like Next Gen 2K. Not even close.

some people on the facebook page think that is current gen and that 2k used CGI for that .... noobs
