not impressed, I'm a gameplay 1st, graphics 2nd. I need to see gameplay improvements like AI, realistic physcs, and game modes (scared about the 2k tendency to remove features) before I decide to make the jump to the next gen. I'd also like to know if the online gets improved of if they are going to keep the same code/servers than the dreamcast era

cant wait to see more anyways

Gameplay 1st, graphics 2nd? Okay that's fair, but that means you still care about the graphics and to say you're not impressed with the graphics means you essentially blind.

Im not impressed because the graphic change was just expected. Like I said still too many doubts. Physics, gameplay, game modes , online, association and a lot of other things come 1st to me. Im not goig to get impressed by fancy graphics, but i would if the gameplay was realistic.

thats just my opinion

Wow! Said I wasn't to hyped about NBA2k this year and next gen needed to blow me away before I decided to get it or not. Well after that i'm starting to get hype....well played 2k well played

They look like actual individual people, and not just figures with a few polygons. The lighting is terrific as well.
crowd looks a lil better but i still saw like one modal like four to five times just in one picture on the same side of the sidelines...like dressed and sitting down the exactly the same way..smh wish games would stop doing this..make you pay more attention to the company's new engine

After watching it a few more times, I've come to the conclusion the faces and facial reactions are graphically insane. Aside form that, I'm not all that impressed with how similar the player models look to current-gen (generic bodytypes, fat legs, baggy jerseys), but we are in a step in the right direction. This definitely felt "next-gen" watching it.

Mouths are some of the hardest things to animate correctly. You have skin on top of teeth with moving tongues and other tissue beneath. Lots of games only animate mouths during cutscenes and during regular gameplay, even if you can see the mouth moving, there is no tongue or teeth inside, just that black hole.

I'm not going to complain if 2k doesn't add mouthguards into next gen for a few years.

After seeing that trailer, I'm not going to complain period.

I just wonder which build was the little gameplay they showed with virtual LeBron because they jerseys weren't ad baggy

I think they do-- the jerseys don't seem to have quite as many wrinkes-- but "lower poly count" on next gen still looks better than current gen 2K players.

I see folks saying "not impressed at all one bit" . Good for you I can't wait til my ps4 gets here to play this

Only things I can nitpick:
-Player models (though Mike addressed those)
-Lighting, we're getting better, but some of these colors gotta be darker, that blue on the Warriors, it doesn't look right
-The jerseys have to be tighter (medium setting on 2K11 PC is what it should look like)

That's it. Good for next gen guys, but I'll just wait it out until the floodgates are opened.

Odd, because jerseys looked tight and just right in the Lebron next-gen trailer.

Damn, almost had me believing that was Cyber Bron in the beginning. Lol. At any rate, I-Block-A's and Harden's faces nearly had me falling out my chair. SPOT on!! I dunno y Bron's actual cyberface is not passing my IQ test in this or the previous next gen trailer. Either way, already on the fence about this but I think I'm going to Best Buy manana and actually REMOVE my PS3 2K14 preorder and move it to the PS4 version. I think 2K13 will hold me over.

Man on man. This video was on point! The expressions, lighting, and emotion are all there. Harden's model was a work of perfection. I read every comment in this thread and wish everyone would get on the same page and saw that this is an old build so we still have something even better to look forward to which blows the mind. 2k...my hat is off to you.

P.S. The 2 shots of Anthony Davis throwing it down are superb. It shows off that perfect stadium lighting with that mean muggin full flare unibrow dunk face. Love it!

After watching the so called next gen footage of Madden 25 I must say I appreciate 2k a lot more. Keep up the good work
