NBA Live 14 Trailer - First Look (Screen Captures Included)

EA Sports has released their NBA Live 14 gameplay trailer, which features a first look at their game in action. We figured it would be short, let us know what you think.

In the coming weeks expect to hear a lot more about NBA Live 14, some of the nuggets we are expecting to learn about are the 50+ signature styles in the game, Connected Experiences, and more game modes. It appears as if the Live 14 hype train has finally left the station and it's expected we'll see a lot more on this game in the next several weeks.

We've also captured some screenshots from the video. Obviously, they will look better in 1080p, these were captured in 720p.

Awesome...they actually have MSG licensed to be in the game! Other than that I'm going to wait for more vids...

one thing that i liked was the fact that players in this nba game will have there leg tattoos... I could see kyrie's leg tattoos... that was tight... but besides that, not really impressed... visual, accessories, graphics look great.. but really did see anything revolutionary about this at all, looked like elite 11 or even live 13 in sense... I need some 5-on- 5 gameplay!

Wack trailer. Don't understand why marketers think gameplay trailers like this will get people excited. We want to see real gameplay.

Yes. You know the graphics will be an upgrade because it's next gen. Live accessories and shoes for the most part always look good (Elite 11 didn't look good at all to me though). This trailer didn't wow me. Other than Kyrie's dribbling the other players looked a bit stiff. The editing seems to be masking some things.

We have yet to see the ball even go through the basket and they zoomed in real close during the layup. I won't be convinced till I see 5 on 5 gameplay.

something new right, then why has the stiffness and the same skintextures seen in live 13, found its way into live 14? lighting is better, but really don't see much of a difference from this and live 13 beside upgraded lighting system and dribbling.... I just think its sad that the game is yet after all the time they had, still on a 3yr cycle

so kyrie looks like hes on point but i cant see felton or stoudemire face..... something is telling me that EA pulling a b move i need to see 5 on 5 gameplay like 2k is doing and dribble looks......ok .....idk right now

I expected more than just a teaser trailer and not quite what I was thinking regarding 5 on 5 but it was cool yet MSG stole the show for me. Lol. Jaw dropping how good MSG looked. Honorable mention to Kyrie's hand signal, if that is purely in game and not just for the trailer.

what a bunch of 2k nutthuggers up in here. If the game really looks like this then it will be hands down the best looking next gen sports game period. Everyone is like meh, or it looks ok when really it looks 10x higher graphical quality then anything we have seen this gen. I don't know how it will play but you guys are really showing you bias lol.

I didn't mean graphicly. I meant the first time I saw 2k9 I thought, "this looks different, a turn for the better" . when I saw 2k9 it was the first time 2k put a lot of different animations we hadnt ever seen in a 2k game. This video showed me a lot of different things I've never seen from live that's all

I'm not really impressed with the whole Living Worlds things. The crowd looks dull as hell and they need to move them alot closer to the court. Also the baseline should be packed with way more photographers sitting indian-style.

Same thing I was thinking. The bench looks way too empty as well.

i think 2k has live on next gen graphics, this looks good but 2k looks more realistic just my opinion though

Agreed. I've been to MSG and when it's crowded, you'll definitely notice it and that's something the game doesn't show (too well) right now.

Man you guys are tough. I feel bad for the guys at Tiburon. They have been working really hard on this game and most of you don't have anything positive to say. I hear people saying "it doesn't look next-gen." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You show me a MSG that has evder looked that good in any bball game. The player models look great and btw I love 2k but their cloth animation hasn't been perfect either. Give em a break people.....this game looks very promising from that trailer. Could they have shown more, hell yeah but then again.....we're still two months out. What do you guys want from a video game? God damn!!!

they have a reason to be tough on them. they have constantly dropped the ball over the years with empty promises. yeah it looks good but not realistic. hopefully it will be good enough we need competition back, and let's hope we will get comp back for football

well yea they didnt but i wasnt being clear with myself i was expecting EA to show five on five like 2k14 (current gen ) from earlier last week. not a debut of showing kyrie and what he can do with bouncetek, but basically EA did the same thing like 2k did at E3. just make a trailer of the player thats on their cover and done.... still im curious what both next gen console of basketball has to bring later in September to make my decision.
