He was still doing it through the last data update last year. He's teamed up with Only Pro Evolutions.

Also, chants are easy to import on the PS3. Things like that and option files for PES are one of the reasons I got a PS3 a few months ago.

This morning I was getting annoyed that the AI was just trying to hit me on the break, but then I realized it's because they were in a optimal position to do so. Once they had the ball deep in their half with no pressure on them, they slowly played it up and tried to test my defense.

Loving all the variation, especially in how different individual players feel.
Appreciate your perspective and tips earlier in this post to help me see the light with PES 14, man. Keep them coming!

Paul did OFs for both PS3 and 360 this year, but in my opinion if you want the absolute best OFs around, you have to check out PESUniverse.com. Those guys are amazing, the kits, the face scans, the tactical adjustments and the transfer updates..........not to mention they do all sorts of custom files, such as Brazilian leagues, Turkish Leagues, MLS, etc. Best of all, they don't require any donation to have access to ALL the files they release, although after seeing them in action it's hard not to donate something.

This is my first introduction to them. Cheers for that.

They have a Bundesliga + 2.Bundesliga file for 2013! I hope they do that for 2014, also.

Enjoy my friend. Quite sure they'll be doing more of the same for 2014, especially if they are still able to edit the files via PC.

Option files are going be crazy good this year. PESUniverse is the best bet for those, as most of the best editors from OnlyProEvo have moved over there now. Also, the best PES youtubers like MidniteKid and TrueBrits are a part of that community.

They make files for the USA as well?

They do indeed.

Newest thing I'm noticing/enjoying: defending CPU counter-attacks is now realistic. In PES 2013, when the CPU would counter-attack, 99% of the time they would either carve up your defense with unrealistic pin-point through balls or they would run right into one of your defenders and give the ball away. Now you can actually hold them back and force them to build-up reasonably. It is dependent on how good your team is, though, obviously.

How are the differences of playing style between teams? Kreb are you going to be editing the team's playing style profiles like you did for FIFA? I'm digging this demo.

Fouls are totally fine, BTW. I just drew 3 fouls in literally 1 minute. All by luring the defender in, then kicking the ball ahead and drawing contact. You could play 1,000 games of FIFA and maybe get fouled like that 1 time. In PES 2014 is just a matter of whether you want fouls to be a part of the game. If you want back-and-forth arcade action, then you can play it that way and you'll see 0 fouls. If you want to play realistically and attempt to foul and be fouled, you can do that too.

Yeah, I've been getting fouled plenty. I don't really see that as an issue.

# 133 spartansocc12 @ 09/12/13 09:02 PM
I've seen some fouling, but I haven't seen one where the defender jumps into a forward when a long ball is played in. That is such a common foul and seem like one that could definitely be incorporated given the physics and heading already in the game.

Some realistic fouls that I've seen occur when playing a low direct ball into my forward during a hold up play. The CPU will try to get in front of the forward or slide through the forward in order to win the ball, but instead the play results in a foul.

What is really awesome is how different games feel. There will be games where the CPU will be quite easy to pass around while other times it feels like the game is stuck in a midfield battle. As a result there are times where zero fouls, but others with 3 or 4.

There is a chance.

I'm still not drawing fouls at all. You're waiting till the defender approaches and then knocking on with R1?

I know I am not Kreb but I most certainly will, already been testing some of the formations and tactics in the demo and you reall can get teams to play differently in this game. I use to do a lot of formation editing on pesstatsdatabase. If Kreb does decide to do some this year, if time permits I wouldn't mind collaborating with him or any other people willing to help. Also can't wait to check out how the stats work as well.

Ive gotta say this game feels like the real deal. Really loving it.

The weight to the players is very realistic and the ball physics I feel are spot on. People complaining about input lag are mistaken IMO. This isnt like before where you can come out of a turn and immediately turn back the other way and continue.

One area of work I hope they address is players/goalkeepers awareness on loose balls. had a few times where the goalies or defenders in the box wouldnt make a play on the ball and it resulted in a easy goal for the opposition.

I just really wish this type of realism was brought to Madden :/

Cant wait to download the OFs and get my league rolling.

Also guys just think, this is their first go at it with the Fox Engine on CURRENT GEN...Just think what PES15 will bring to the table

That is one way I draw fouls. Also holding up play with you back to player can allow you to draw some fouls. Really can't wait to get 15 to 20 min halves to see what this game can really do with the MASS system because the midfield battles are really amazing and tense in this game especially when playing Man Utd. vs Bayern match or Germany vs. Italy.

I use the speed burst which is a double tap of the sprint button. It only really works when a defender is coming at you from an angle while you dribbling straight ahead. I'm still trying to figure out which is the best dribbling move to draw fouls from a stationary position. I wish kicking the ball away was a simple as it is in FIFA, with just the right stick.

I beat the CPU as Spain using France where they had 64% of the possession. I couldn't get the ball off them as they were playing triangles all over the pitch. I managed to get Pique & Puyol on a 2-2 with Benzema & Ribery. Benzema dropped deep and attracted Pique. Hit a quick through ball ahead of Ribery as he held off Puyol and used his pace to get a 1-on-1 with Casillas. Iker parried the shot and it was put in by Benzema who got spun and got away from Pique.

I did a quick rematch and this time it was the opposite. I had the lions share of possession yet Spain beat me 1-0 on a Cesc goal. I managed to draw 2 fouls on Busquets who got wrong-footed and mistimed his tackle.
