NCAA Football 14 Title Update #2 Available Now - Details Included (360, PS3)

EA Sports has released the second title update for NCAA Football 14, which is available now for 360 and PS3 users.

The update includes multiple presentation and performance issues, as well as gameplay enhancements listed below.

Formation Subs Exploit
Fixed an exploit that allowed users to disconnect an online H2H game without receiving a loss or affecting DNF %
Coaching Carousel Update
Fixed an issue that prevented non-commissioner user teams from being offered new jobs in Online Dynasty
Defensive Back Hot Route Adjustment
Fixed an issue where some Defensive Back Hot Routes would not react correctly
Old Dominion Update
Fixed an issue where Old Dominion is referred to as �Big Blue� and not �Monarchs�
Vignette Slowdown
Addressed an issue where postplay vignettes did not trigger after touchdowns.
Grey Facemask Issue (PS3)
Fixed an issue where some teams had a grey facemask in-game regardless of user modifications on the PlayStation 3
PS3 Optimization
PS3 players will notice a much quicker overall experience with reduced hitches.

Team Skill OVR Rating update

Fixed an issue where Team Skill OVR ratings appeared to be 99, but were actually only a 94
Players may see their OVR Team Skill Ratings adjusted after applying the title update
Please note that individual player OVR ratings have not changed at all.

that buzzing sound is a real pain, but ever since I switched to an HD TV with HDMI, I haven't heard it, including after this patch. When I switch back to non HDMI? the buzzing sound returns

Yeah, I'm using HDMI as well and the "buzzing" crowd sound started after I installed the patch.

It still rears its ugly head, but not as often. I have played approximately 2.5 years of dynasty with UVA. Personally I haven't noticed any gameplay improvements post patch; CBs/LBs and the defense in general is just head scratching poor.

I wish I could post vids, but I'm noticing a disturbing trend of my tackles, instead of blocking, preforming swim moves on the DE's

Finally got the chance to download this patch tonight, and was able to play one game.

Nice to see the facemasks fixed. It's a little thing but seeing the Huskies with purple facemasks is 100 times better than seeing everyone in grey.

No replays were shown on the first 3 touchdowns of the game. After that, I did get the replay sequence.

Washington missed a FG, and on the play, I had a FG Block Return called. After my guy caught the ball, the play was blown dead and Washington somehow got the ball back, on its own 40-yard line. Luckily they went 3-and-out but still annoying.

With some modified sliders, I did see penalties called. A couple of facemasks, a holding, a clipping and a couple of false starts.

Zero turnovers. That's my biggest beef right now. Just give us some fumbles and I'll be good to go.

My only gripe with this game was the freezing issue. I could live with most of the other complaints stated in this forum. After patch #2, I am pleased to say I have had no freezing issues for the last five games. Never happened before. I do hope they issue another patch to address the problems all others are having. But for me, not freezing is good enough for now. I am enjoying the he-double hockey sticks out of this game!! Thanks, EA.

Ever since I downloaded the patch, in every dynasty my right guard gets blown off the ball on every PAT/FG

This is a very weird, very real issue from the patch. We are seeing it too

My Online Dynasty can not play user games at all , we even started over and still nothing . Anyone else having this problem?

I got a few fumbles in my first game. Heisman level, I fumbled 5 times. Some of the gameplay was so infuriating, I put it on All-American and it seems to play better.

I had some penalties in my games. Some false starts and clipping. TD sequence was improved. "Dead TD" only happened once.

One thing the game does that drives me nuts, is, on Dynasty, you see all the out of town scores and updates. Then when your game is over, you cannot see the scores on the schedule until you sim the rest of the week.
I like to sim all the important games, and my Conference games by hand, peruse the boxscores, etc. This takes away from that, and if you sim a game that was an out of town score, a new result is rolled.

yes, i had this problem and the only way i could get the user vs user game to play was to NOT use my custom playbook.

Lol....this glitch is from NCAA 12

Pathetic that its back now. My OD doesn't allow custom PBs so we aren't affected but I feel for you guys
