Andrew Johnson, EA Sports Community Manager for Madden NFL 25 has stated via Twitter, that a fix for the vanishing players users are seeing in the demo (mostly PS3 users) is in Title Update #1. It is scheduled to release when the game arrives in stores on August 27th.

We are trying to confirm whether or not Season Ticket subscribers will get the patch before that date. If we get any other additional patch details today, we'll update this post.

UPDATE: Andrew just confirmed the title update will be available for Season Ticket subscribers.

Crap happens.

I've been there and I'm sure others have. Jobs lost unexpectedly, sudden expenses, etc.

Plus, maybe they are using 3G/4G for internet, but can't afford $80/month for Comcast or whatever - so they put that to the phone so they can stay on the internet, but PS3 can't use 3G/4G.

$60 might be something they saved for, especially as a die hard Madden fan. I've saved up for games in advance when I know their release dates before.

Not saying it's something devs/the industry should bend over backwards to accommodate. I know there's business realities, etc. Just saying it's not necessarily a simple scenario.

This is the reality of the gaming landscape. I understand that some people can't afford the cost of internet in their households. I don't have my system hooked up to the internet. I do play and buy Madden every year (except this year). EA sports makes millions on people like me every year and the REDICULOUS glitches in this game are shameful. EA needs to be dismantled from the inside out and re-staffed with people who care about what product they put out! I honestly believe that they DONT have a quality control department and they don't play the game before they release it!
